Companies that support 50+ yr Workers

Does anyone have a list of companies that are supportive of the 50+ yr workers? If we can identify the companies, it might make the job search easier because you don't have to waste time applying with non-supportive companies.

I am looking for a part-time position. I retired a few years ago. I miss the stimulation of the workplace is also appealing. The extra money would also be welcome.

Hmmm, what to do?

Hello, fellow jobcasers, I have had the blessing of being asked to be the worship minister at my church (for pay! YAY!, but only PT) and I just was hired up for a PT position at the local elementary school as a music teacher - 1 day every other week. I have been a musician since high school and I love both positions and would prefer very much to keep them. However, I need something FT with benefits since I am coming up on 60 and my health is good, but not as perfect as it used to be. I have apps out for security positions (which require a state certificate, which I qualify for and am awaiting my credentials from). Should I take the security job(s) when they come and drop the others, or should I try to work in the other 2 along with the FT position? What I love/want to do doesn't cover much, but the FT position covers everything and benefits. Any thoughts or feedback from y'all???

have the best quality of life possible

So many older people are left alone because family members are too busy, or too bored with what the older person is talking about to want to stay and listen. So they leave, and leave the elder with nothing but a room and maybe TV. All they really need is companionship, some conversation, and a person to listen. So many family members don't want to hear those same old stories yet another time, but telling them brings them back to life for the person doing the telling. We just need to listen, and watch the teller live the tale again. Our ears and smiles are all they need to feel useful again.
