Hard Working Mother /Wife Of 2
Need A 2 Chance To Get It Right, Always Gave It My All, Know Need My All To Be Given To Me,,,

Background
OK, so, I've been looking for permanent employment for some time now. I fill out applications get called for interviews, and then they say they are going to do a background check, and I never hear another thing from them, it's very discouraging. OK, yeah, I've made some bad decisions in my life, I took a negative situation and did something positive with it, I got my GED, learned from this experience and now I've been labeled for life. BUT, I still have a work ethic, I have not forgot my knowledge and wisdom of how to be a great employee, but can't seem to find that right job, that will give me a second chance, I am dependable, reliable, still have all my experience of my past jobs. I kno I'm not the only one out there in this position

Temp agency question ( what would you do)
Ok people ... you have a felony and a temp agency still hires you and gives you a chance ...now they place you in a company that you know otherwise probably wouldn't get hired in the first place because similar companies turned you down due to the background ... do I asked my temp coordinator for a temp to perm position with the company, or apply the regular way anyways and hope It works what do you think ?

Felons for hire.
I really need help. I have three felonies on my record.Whenever I apply for a job that is the only thing they see. I am a very hard worker and enjoying working but I cant seem to get companies to look past my felonies. None of the have anything to do with stealing. What is the best way for my to let my potential employer know about my felonies while still giving me a really good chance of securing a position with said companies? Please help me. Thank you for your time

A Second Chance?
Last January I was laid off by my company that I worked for due to lack of loans and files we had coming in. I was 10 months young into my career. Last Thursday, however, I was brought into the company for an interview for a new program that they were launching, and I'm supposed to hear back from them either today or tomorrow. I was recommended by a previous supervisor I had saying that I was someone who was hard working, and didn't stop until he had his work completed. I'm really hoping I get this position, because I miss working and I miss the company that took me in for my first full-time job out of college. Please pray for me. Thank you.

Frustrated
I've been working with this temp agency for a little while now, in hopes that they can connect me with a potential employer in need of hiring someone. So while I've been working with them and applying to other jobs, I've also been doing babysitting so I'm not totally without money, but still, it's hard work and I need to move on to a new job. So the agency calls me on Wednesday and ask me if I'm available for an interview within two hours. I agree and quickly get ready, call an uber, etc. The interview went great, and the manager pretty much hired me on the spot and asked if I could start training the next day. She said that her current employee is constantly late, not doing the required tasks, etc and that I am to be her replacement. Later, when I get home I get another call from the agency informing me that the manager, whom I just had an interview with, requested that I come in on Monday instead. I agreed and was fine with it. The agency informed me they would call me on Friday (today) to let me know what time to come in on Monday. They didn't call me once, until I had to call them. They then told me "oh yeah sorry, we meant to call you this morning, and the manager said that she's going to give her current employee a second chance" So basically, I'm asked to wait for someone to screw up and only then can I get a chance to start the job. One I don't have time to wait and two I'm not liking this manager's way of thinking. Should I move on? I think yes.

2chance
Whether she killed someone are not,it should n' t have any effect on her getting a job, when she have done her time. She and I both deserved a second chance. I was incarcerated for 22 years and been home almost 5 years, and no one will hire me. We did or time and staying out of trouble since we been back in society. We deserved a 2 chance!!!!

Second Chance
Hello I want to obtain employment with a great company. Can you please tell me if this program is true with companies? This group is for people with felony or other degrees, and for those who wish to help people who have made mistakes in the past have second chances. Everybody should get a second chance. Everybody makes mistakes.. Thank you Terry

job as case manager
I know Regi is out their...hello. I am working now in assisted living as a RN/ I to was let go from a lucrative job due to trouble with my son which lead to officials in which ripped my job from under my feet. I believe everyone should be given a chance to clear themselves especially after so many years of service. Was she really given a fair chance. Its not like she had been malicious. People standing out in hallways discussing patients break HIPPA everyday...don't they. I realize on most computer at work they can see what you are doing. I believe all of us deserve a better arbitration. If Jullian did this again then yes. I know I will hear some flack. I believe I deserved a chance with Humana and I fight disagreement every day.

Baker/ Deli Associate
I Applied for a baker job at Make My Cake in Harlem, N.Y. last month but didn't get the job. I just knew anyway just by the way that they never gave me the chance to do the trial basis. The bs reason was that the person who was supposed to train me didn't show. Plus I wasted over 3 hours all for nothing and could've gone to another job screening the same day. The owner of the bakery said that he would come but isn't sure when. Not only is this unfair & wrong but is disrespectful at best. I finally walked up to the counter to ask what is the problem and was told that he was unable to come. So I asked when can I reschedule for another date for the trial basis again by one of the counter workerd and was told that the owner will email me back but never got back to me. I even emailed her back as well just to keep in touch to no avail! If you didn't want to hire me in the first place just say it to my face instead of having me come in for an interview, come in 20 minutes earlier for the trial basis & had me wait for over 3 hours that never happened, and didn't follow up on the promise of an email to invite me back with no response. Since I have over 17 years experience working in the baking industry as a Baker there's no reason why I can't get a job anywhere! Plus I'm still looking for a job ever since I lost my job in November when the store went out of business. For now I'm on unemployment benefits for now and is looking forward to trying something new as maybe a cook or caterer since I love to cook and bake. Thanks for reading.
