Does anyone know if this company is legit because I filled the application out and received a call from them saying that I got the job and had to send a picture of myself with my drivers license..

Be careful out there. I was scammed by a job posting on CareerBuilder. Someone was advertising for a personal assistant/driver. Sent me a large check for my first week's wages and his supposed car rental. Thank goodness the teller at my bank had my back. He had the manager call on the check and it was fake. Apparently, the con artist was trying to get me to use the money before it cleared.

Hello I received a call from Allegis Group Company and I did my text interview on Google group chat. Was a little skeptical at first and kind of still is. I did my homework on the company and saw there was mixed ratings on them. I was offered the position of Administrative assistant/Data intake. Training will be at $11 an hour and after that $28 an hour. But I was told that I will receive a check for my equipment and software and that part was very sketchy to me because I am not going to put a bogus check in my bank. Also when I read a review about that, which the person said they sent her a fraudulent check that her back told her it was. She told Allegis Group and they said they will reimburse her. So, what advice can you all give me? I want to work I have been looking for a job since I got my first degree.

I received an email from a company impressed with my career and asked me to interview for a Client Coordinator. I confirmed the interview and sent an updated resume. When I arrived, I was stunned to find some 20 applicants... all waiting to be interviewed. The company, The Blanco Insurance Agency, corralled all of us into the conference room and the pitch began. A multi-level commissioned pyramid designed to increase your wealth as you increase theirs. Mind you, my intent is not to diminish commissioned based jobs but to trick perspective employees... waste their time like mine was is nothing but corrupt.

These people posted for an office administrator. They are located in Ontario, Canada. Promised me a position in Maryland earning $34.00 an hour as an administrative assistant, hell that is more than I currently make as a paralegal. Told me they would be sending me a lap top, and a check to order stationary and to obtain flights for the management staff. Little did they know I checked them out, there are not a registered business in Ontario, Canada, and they surely aren't licensed in Maryland, so they will not be operating a business here in Maryland. Shame on you to think that I would not investigate you.

Hello Community!

Please be aware of this scam! I rec'd an email this morning at 4:30AM for an employment screening and qualification session asking me to log in via Google Hangouts. That would have normally been a RED FLAG however, the email CC'd WI Workforce Development which is an organization and I am required to register with them for unemployment benefits. Long story short they asked me about 25 questions regarding my experience. Then whats your bank account & home address! 1 HOUR LATER! I even rec'd a Letter of employment to sign offering me $55 an hour to work from home!

Within minutes of me posting earlier today, I had a Trade Market try to "give me a job" and all I had to do was give him my bank account number or credit card number so he could put it in his system and start, and send him pics of that and my license so he could have his accountant put money on it. Oh, and there was no job interview and he requested I text a number that you cannot call, nor does any such business exist at any address given. Smelled fishy from the get go. I have filed it with the BBB already, but I wanted to let everyone know not to accept anything from that profile. Please be aware of these scammers. Namaste!

A Real Question, does anyone get messages up here sent by people that are suppose to be job recruiters? When you answer the message does it actually contain a real job? I been getting messages from all kinds of people up here claiming they have a job they want me to look at but I don't want it to be a scam. Is the jobs up here trustworthy?
