Scam/fraudulent jobs

I was contacted by what I thought was a legitimate business, for a job. I even did my own investigation on this company, everything looked really great. Even checked the bbb for them. They sure pulled the wool over my eyes, and some other people I had helping me investigate. Hey contacted me thru this site, as well. Needless to say I worked for them for a month, even had contact with them, up until it was time for me to receive my paycheck!!! Still have not recieved my paycheck and now the phone lines are off, on their end, no response back emails, from them, and now their website is just some random picture of a night city. Really thought I was working hard for this company and my paycheck so I thought, but some how I got screwed over big time in the end!!! Not to happy, and very skeptical about accepting any kind of job from here or online period!!! Not to mention this company has all my info from my tax forms!!!

yeah hired to good o be true

So I receive an email ."job offer has a interview.. next day results 91% I'm hired .. Send me a check for office supplies and equipment a work at home office job ..I receive the check when they told me i could only deposit it via atm or image i became very suspicious .Already was a little. Call the bank it wa written on all legit until we get to the account number there is no such account .. Do you believe this is this for real I'm already down and out its Christmas haven't worked in 7 months ..glad i did not deposit was told this

you are to deposit the check via ATM or Mobile Deposit as part of your task. Once that has be done. You are required to email me a picture or scanned copy of the deposit slip once for record purpose. Your timing manner really matter with your first tasks and this is to enable the company know if you can handle this position effectively. Keep me posted. UnitedHealth group

WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAM!!!!

there's a guy named Gold Barry who messaged me o n my profile offering me a great opportunity!!...NOT!! I luckily didn't go very far in speaking with him before I realized he is a scam artist!! He offered me to work for him as a mystery shopper, averaging $300 weekly!! I thought it sounded great, so I asked for more information. He said he'd send me a list with shops I can purchase gifts from for a orphanage. He would send me a cashiers check to cover the purchases plus my first $300...without even doing anything first!! That right there tells you this man is a scam artist!! Sounds like he wants you to cash this check...which would most likely overdraft your account, and then you use the money to send gifts to a "orphanage" aka the scam artist....and you end up keeping 300 that won't even cover the money that's over drafted your account!! BE AWARE FOR SCAMS LIKE THIS!!!! not everyone is genuine nowadays....even on job sites i guess! TAKE CAUTION & IF YOU HAVE TO QUESTION IT, I'D SAY DON'T DO IT!!!!

They almost had me! SCAM !

I too, had applied through an online job application website. Same case Administrative Assitant, $15 training and $27 an hour after that. Thank God I looked it up and seen all of these comments about it. I didn’t hand them no information out and I immediately posted this. This is the phone number they texted me from, and they knew my name. 1(857)219 2284 Hope this helps. And remember If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isnt!

Hello I am Mr Bill Roberts from Berkshire Hathaway Corporation,Our recruitment team has received your application sent to us via ZipRecruiter and We are very pleased and would like to conduct an online interview..Reply back with (YES I AM) if you are interested!
