Age obstacle
I am also experiencing a lot of rejection. I am college degreed have a long stable work history and am looking for post retirement employment.
I'm retired, am looking for part-time employment.
I have records management experience, I am a certified crisis counselor, literacy tutor.
Life
I will be retiring the end of the summer from a school district in the Special education dept. That I’ve worked at for 16 years. I’m 58 and received a Parkinson’s diagnosis 3 years ago. All my issues are on the left side (I thank God I’m right handed). Can still can do ALOT but only want to work less than 20 hours a week. Scarred to put myself out there but will do it. Side note, I HONESTLY only look in my 40’s but am 58 and will not hide it. Know how dress too. Long and short of it any advice?

Marcella, That is wonderful, cherish It! I'm a retired Firefighter! seemingly each time I'm gifted with an interview " Age" seemingly is the issue. my response, just give me one chance, then you will not every regret. Can't just sit and become idle, need activities, work, be a part in life, love nice people, enjoy being a part with others!
