Recent retiree seeking part-time work

I retired 2 months ago and am seeking part-time work. The problem I am having is that I have high level experience but am looking more for low level work. Administrative or clerical work is what I would prefer. Has anyone experienced this situation and if so, can you offer any advice. Thank you.

Registered Nurse

I have worked geriatrics for well over 20 years and decided, at the age of 62, to semi retire. I applied for a pediatric home care position with an 8 year old in my apartment complex. It seemed ideal until she kept winging hard plastic toys at me and gave me a black eye, I tried to explain to her that toys were for playing with and we could do that together. Dad was there and called the company the next day saying that I wasn’t a good fix. All he said, while all this was going on is “don’t hurt the nurse.”

I love my job at Amazon because

I loved the Diversity of the people in the workplace. The Amazon workplace is a microcosm of The World. And,as a behavior psychologist,I was fascinated by how people of different ages and generations, various cultures and different points of view and backgrounds interacted, aligned and teamed in the workplace I enjoyed the physical challenge of the work and benefited up to a point by it...having retired from my previous position I enjoyed keeping myself active..
