I quit after 7 years.

After 7 years, I only took one day off because I was sick and no vacation, I had to quit. I was loyal. I worked on salary 6-7 days a week. 12-15 plus hour days. It was becoming physically and emotionally exausting. I would ask for time off and get a response of "it is what it is". I've been 9 days out of work. Been looking and still looking. Nothing yet.

Leadership

I was an Area Lead, on my way to Supervisor, for 2 Years at my previous job. The company made it so hard to be a successful Leader, which ultimately led to me quitting my job and giving up my Leadership. I really enjoyed my job and it's not very cool when the company is doing wrong to the point where it drove me out the door.

Support

I quit my job because i felt many times i wasnt being supported. I work very hard at everything i do , at times i give in too much. I entered this job just as a barista 8 months later i was a lead 2 months later i was a supervisor. I learned everything a manager does. I understand the bussiness and its demands. But i felt many times i had no back up from my management team. Im always up to a challenge definatly not afraid.

Feeling relieved

Last week I put in my two weeks notice for a job I have hated and stayed at for 3 years. There is a pay cut but it's the best for me and I'll work my way up.

FAITH

In June I resigned from a very stressful position without regret. I loved my position but not the politics. On today I had a job offer doing the same type of work with a bonus REMOTE. Gods love and grace has carried me through thus far and will continue to give all thanks to him. Keep asking God for help it's on the way don't give or give in to NO's.

Question

I turned in my formal two weeks notice via email to all upper Authority that I was responsible to communicate with for my job. I was asked to not finish out the day I was immediately taken off the email system and to turn in my tools and computer. They owe me for one month's expenses still. This is been 6 months now and they have not sent me my expense check. How do I go about getting the $750 that they owe me? Thanks in advance

my tips for their gas

I recently was a cab driver. I quit because the boss wanted us (the drivers) to pay for the gas. It's their car not mine. Why should I put my money that I make back into the car? Feels like I was working for free
