Need advice

So I was laid off December 2016, I got 10 weeks severance and now I'm on unemployment. However this week my previous manager called and stated they have gotten additional funding and are hiring and asked me to apply. I did but she stated she hasn't received the resumes from HR yet but hope she hopes to in the next couple of weeks, and plans to do interviews. I'm confused I don't know if this is a good thing or not. I mean she did call me but why would I need to interview with her I worked for her for 2 years.

Bad Experience and my own fault

I'm using an alias, because I'm to embarrassed to use my real name, but would like some input. I had been researching a company for months, and finally found a position that was a good fit. Went through extensive interviews and finally landed the job. No where did it mention any testing about anything. Not that it should matter. I had met up with some high school friends just before they reached out and some brought out some pot so we all had some. So, after receiving the offer letter it said, background check and drug test. I was so nervous, I went and had my own test at a professional lab and it was negative. It was an odd occasion after a stressful week with old friends. So, I thought I'd be ok for the real test and still failed. The HR lady was so nice and tried to help with all the new laws and thought it was no big deal, but since they're federal. They retracted the offer. I had talked with my new boss and had a start date. I want to reach out to him, but wasn't able to when this first happened. Wondering if I should and see the job posted again for 22 days'. I know I screwed up, so don't be harsh. I was so confident I gave my notice and lucky my old boss took me back after being truthful. Now, I'm in a job and thankful to still have it, but just burnt out. Would you write to this guy who would have been your new boss? I still want the job, but know it's over.

i am looking for a part time position my disability is that i suffer from ptsd from the service i worked for lowes for four years .i relocated to south carolinia ..i took there test and passed called in for interview . thought everything was went fine .left Lowesunder good terms . i mentioned to interviewer that i was service connected disabled .was that a mistake . seems Lowes doesn't practice what they preach in T.V. commercial. if i am already trained why not hire me . assistance manager told me that just because i worked for Lowes and left on good terms doesn't mean they will hire me .right now i am trying to get vocational training but takes months what should i do. they are under staffed right now .with plenty of openings.

Not re-hireable

I was recently was "fired" from my previous job, but when I asked my old manager, I was told I quit. I graduated high school and gave up a couple shifts to play basketball then couldn't log in to check my schedule or anything. When I asked if I could come back and get a part time because why not I was told I was not re-hireable, which means I was fired and it would be for something like no call no show. And after asking around my "case" was closed and it stated that I was fired in person but I never had meeting or anything to be fired and I was told I quit. I'm sure this is wrong in one way or another and am wondering as in what to do. Also, the person that "fired" me was a temporary general manager and is elsewhere now. Ideas?
