Work with Recruiters

I found recruiters are very useful. They can deliver my applications to HR managers. Last few weeks, I received calls and emails from recruiters, and they even got me into phone interview with hiring managers. That is wonderful. In fact, some of them are contracted pre-screeining agents for very good organizations. Please think about them and work with them.

Jobs with recruiter

Trying to find a job with Recruiters. How do you ever get past the recruiter stage. I have been out of the work force game since the recruiters have been put into place. It truly is a horrible way of hiring since the company or recruiter doesn't go on your history, skills, etc. My Husband and I are looking for work and both left the hospital we are trying to get a job at, both work for the departments we are trying to get hired back in. Left with great reference. At one point my husband had the manager fighting to get him hired and the recruiter wouldn't hire him. How do you get hire in this recruiter world????? They don't look at your resume, they don't look at all they get, HELP!!!!!

Amy J.Jones./ very frustrated

To begin. I am sorry if I seem irritated, .... but I am. I know that progress is necessary in the 21st century, but i wish recruiters did not use software to send employment opportunities. Buzz words and phrases match the qualifications from a resume to job/career opportunities. Rarely does a recruiter READ the resume until later. I know it is they only way to "service" job listing clients with reasonable candidates..... BUT.... I clearly do not want to sell/market insurance regardless of the variety, nor do I want to drive a truck. My resume indicates many years of sales as well as previously owning my own business. The buzz words are: sales, sole proprietorship. co-owner, etc.... what is in my inbox daily? Wanted: CDL drivers, insurance agents wanted, telemarket positions....... I am not licensed for insurance sales, nor do I have a CDL..... And, I do not desire to get them; I have a MBA, and I have GSL debt for God's sake..... Why do recruiters think I have extra cash laying around for pre-licensing instruction as well as the licenses themselves????
