Hard work is appreciated and rewarded.

Opportunity as dietary aide
Okay how do I put this walked two jobs because I wasn't gaining the opportunity I needed. First one was because I was working short and the fact I did most of the work and never got regonzies for it then .this job is so discriminate that I had to cover my tattoos and I walked because of the cook at work he approach in disrespectful way .

Who's done a 'good job' around you today? Have you told them????
I confess I get so busy that I forget to put a little positive reinforcement into my daily routine. Its so easy to get focused on what to fix, what to think about etc. But a little positive re-inforcement goes a long way. I am going to try to remember this more throughout 2016 (who needs it to be January to have a new years resolutions?!).
Who has done a good job for you today? Suggest you do 2 things: 1) tell them; 2) tell the world by praising them on jobcase !!

Thank you, Jobcase!
For the Amazon gift card! It was fun to shop again!

Small token - big impact. Veterans on Jobcase..
When we first launched this social platform, we did so with the intent of empowering people in their worklives. The building block for it all is each persons worklife profile. We focused on providing the tools to allow each person to show themselves in the best light (for example: if you run a PTA - reorder and put volunteer info up top - that says a LOT about what you have to offer an employer). And so on. But when it comes to Veterans we thought we have an extra obligation. I grew up saluting soldiers in parades, and was proud to have my daughters gather every memorial day and fourth of July to do the same. I cannot fathom the sacrifices made, but we can appreciate it. So a very very small token of our appreciation is to make sure that everyone knows the service they have given us - and all that informs us about their character and work-ethic. So we simply put a little American flag right on their profile picture. I see that we have a Veteran as a Jobcaser of the day on our front page today. At a glance, I know this man served our country above and beyond and am thankful for that. I am hopeful that by surfacing this information, employers will be able to easily identify folks who have earned a close consideration.
There are tons of very little things like this that the Jobcase team in Cambridge, MA work on everyday to try and empower each and every jobcaser in their workflow. Some aren't as obvious as a flag on a profile pic, but all are important. If we all help each other out a bit- we'll all be better off. And we will keep working hard so that this platform helps each of us do this just a bit more easily.
Have a great monday - I gotta get back to work on the next cool thing to help out. And in the meantime, remember - it doesnt have to just be Veterans or Memorial day to show appreciation to our troops!

Jobcase in the news..trying to prove worthy of the mission..
Hey Jobcasers, I had some fun starting to advocate for Jobcase and Jobcasers in the news yesterday. Have been interviewed many times before, but this is first TV interview as we start to breakout. We are getting more and more attention. Its pretty cool because the more people that join Jobcase, the more power each individual already on JObcase will have. Lets grow this to into a movement together... Is it still okay to give my boss a Holiday gift?
I’m not even sure if this is still an ethical thing to do with all the new workplace harassment rules & regulations. I have a cool boss and I want to give him a small appreciation holiday gift without causing any embarrassment or being pulled into an office by the HR police.

I don't think you folks have a clue of what I do?

Where do I list awards and special recognitions on my resume?
I’ve received awards from previous jobs that I want to add to my resume but not sure where to add that info.
