Looking for reasons to fire me

So the Executive Director of my Department supposedly had been watching me for a while and she liked my work ethic and determination and saw leadership capabilities in me so she hand picked me for a promotion so she says. In February I received a promotion and moved over to another department that she is still the head of but also in February my company had a Town Hall meeting with the CEO, COO and the Executive Director and I very vocally expressed everything I felt was wrong with the department that I had just moved from and offered a few suggestions on what I felt like should be done to make the department run better. Well fast forward a week after the Town Hall I received a write up for something that I wasn’t even aware I was doing wrong. Now I feel like there is a telescope on everything I do and my job is picking on me and trying to find a reason to fire me because the Executive Director is mad that I expressed my opinion about the department that she is the head of. Now my current manager that I have had a great working relationship with in the past has joined the band wagon and she to is now using little things to pick on me. Everything they have brought up to me they have punished me for with no type of coaching or warning about the issue first just straight to the punishment, now I don’t know how I should handle the situation moving forward any advice would help.

Work place Discrimination

So Ive been working for taco bell for almost a year and my gm says she wants to give me a promotion but she cant until I get dentures. See I am a victim of demestic violence and she knows the situation due to the inccodent accurring two months after I started working there. Yes I had teeth when I was hired but its not my fault nor did I ask my ex to beat me up so bad causing me to have a broken nose, ruptured sinus and having to have all of my teeth surgically removed. They only pay $8.00 an hour and ive also been lied to about getting a pay raise.

Tired of not being paid what I'm worth

Last year at my job something unfortunate and unexpected happened. One of my co workers died. I had been doing part of his job since he was no longer able. A few months after he died, I was told I would be given his postion. I was shown one part of it and given a raise. here it is one year later and I dont feel I am being paid as much as my predessessor nor have i been shown anything else. This position is part time as well. I have been looking for another job, full time this time. I like my boss, hes very understanding. So I have been dragging my feet about leaving. I have training as a patient care tech but no experience, so I wont be hired. I am looking into another field entirely but Im not sure what to look for

Assistant Manager

I have been at my Company weeks before they open. I was hired as a Supervisor, but after the Managers,And the G.m. resign I stay on doing my best to hold down the company, Well a new G.m came on ,and Hired another manager in my department, then promoted me to Assistant, but promise I will be next in line if things didn't work out for the new manager.Well she was fired and I was next up.. I decided not to take the position because I didn't know how to do certain things, But someone else from another department was given to position.. I am feeling hurt because they are putting all energy into her ,but never put any into me so that I can take the position..Now they're picking and finding all kind of reason to come against me..

Higher than I expected to go, or is it hire?

After almost six months, I was hired to be a contractor for a project that I had gone through the motions in the last few years as one of the team members and was kind of pushed into a lead position. This time I am the lead and the scale of the operation and the customer base is even more massive. The project is in the early stages, so that makes room to learn the additional skills needed. The expected timeline is eighteen months, but it could easily go beyond that.

To those looking, I hope the best for everyone of you. I'm not going to blow smoke and give a rosy scenario, we're adults and know better, but attitude helps. My interview for the position was a classic case of keeping a good attitude, the interview was delayed for three hours and somehow, I had two interviews scheduled by different groups and it was for the position and I was confused as to what was going on. Scheduling a Monday interview very late on a Friday didn't help, but it still worked out.

Update

Good Morning Jobcase Community Just wanted to stop in and update everyone on how I'm doing. Been at my new position 4 weeks and 2 days. So far so good. I am settling in and have become familiarized and comfortable with the company and some of my co-workers. I am at a world-wide corporation headquarters, so there are employees spread across the US, Canada, South America, Asia, Africa and even into Australia. I'll probably never know everyone lol, but I'm getting to know those I work regularly with more and more each day. The people are friendly, and diverse, intelligent, and professional. I am 7 minutes from home which is a huge change for me. One I'm absolutely loving, and my take home pay is pretty good. So 1 month in NO COMPLAINTS. I'm under contract currently through labor day, but the company seems to like me, so I'm expecting to go permanent in September. A pay increase is likely and my benefits will kick in, so it'll be a nice birthday ( #45) for me this year I believe. Fingers crossed. I start school Monday at night, lol so we will see how this goes. It's only 6 weeks and it'll give me much needed certification, but I'm not in my 20s anymore. I attended college full-time, worked 40 hours a week and had an infant back then. I know, women rock right? Lol. I am a 44 yo empty nester now, but I usually take a nap after work and go to bed by 9 lol, so being in school until 10 after working an 8 hour day 4 nights a week, is going to be a struggle. Lol Send me prayers and positive energies. Despite what people say, 45 is NOT the new 25. It will be hard, I'm not gonna lie. But failure and quitting are not options for me and being the queen boss that I am, nothing to it but to do it. Lol I'll follow up later and let you know how that goes. Now, To everyone still looking for work and wanting too throw in the towel, DON'T! Keep going, keep trying and keep believing in yourself and your ability to create the life you want for yourself. The life you deserve. There are enough dream killers and downpressers surrounding you, why jump on that bandwagon and destroy yourself? It's usually the people not doing anything with their lives who get in the way, and tell those who are making strides, doing things and creating the life they want it can't be done. Naysayers, dream blockers, and negative nasties I call them. Misery loves company and if you hang around and listen to those not doing it, you won't be doing it either. Most of them are your competition and want you to fail. That way they get the job instead of you. Just keep chugging along and chipping away at it. Slow and steady wins the race. Hold on for one more day, and always one more day. EVERYTHING in life comes to an end. EVERYTHING. This includes being unemployed. It cannot last forever which means your breakthrough is fast approaching. The seeds you plant today, will harvest tomorrow. Do not quit, just as your opportunity knocks on the door. Your time is coming. I promise. It is your turn and you will get the job. If you have questions or need advice, just want someone to bounce ideas or frustrations off of or want honest opinions and feedback I'm here. I'm a great no judgment sounding board and I've got a pretty interesting life with a wild educational and employment history that I'd be happy to share and compare with you. I'm here and you know how to reach me. Let me know.

Enjoy your day all! Namaste and Jah Bless!

Leaving my job for the second time!

I have already left the company I work but accepted a new position within the organization I thought it was a good idea for me. When I was with my other colleague who supposed to help me training this new position and also my supervisor. My supervisor told me that he will get with the HR and make this official and there will be a new salary negotiation and other things. He also said that they are looking for another candidate for my previous position so I do not have to do the double duties for long time. Butttt… Now, the situation is really bad. He told me that we are on hiring freeze now and can’t hire anyone for long time so he asked me to do double duties for next 8 months to a year. Also, he said that I cannot go on the trip to Italy (the headquarter) for the training because I cannot be away from the office that long time. And finally, he never called to the HR and made this official. He is shady. Well, I took a huge offense from this situation. I have interviewed and got the job I wanted, and I am leaving again for the second time. Am I a bad person for doing this?
