Pharmacy Technician

This position is not just a job it’s a career. We are saving lives everyday. When I am training new Pharmacy Techs I make them aware how important your role is. Learn as much as you can. Go the extra mile. Very busy environment so learn to stay cool when everyone else get hot. Be passionate about what you do. There are many positions that Pharmacy Technicians can do that can make a difference in the lives of others. Never feel what you does not matter. Without you many pharmacies could not operate or be successful. Take pride in keeping the patients safe. Attitude is everything. It can make you or it can break you. No matter how busy you may be keep patient safety a priority. It’s ok to question the Pharmacist if something don’t look right the same with the Doctors and nurses. We are a team. No matter where you decide to work be your best do your best continue learning. If you are not Nationally Certified study and get Certified. A journey of one thousand miles begin with a single step. licensed pharmacy technician

I went back to school last year for pharmacy technician. My schooling was fully completed November of 2017. I have been applying for pharmacy technician positions but always get an email with saying not enough experience and they have other candidates with more experience. I have not given up on this career and get it will take time but time and time again getting the denial emails does get discouraging but I keep pushing on and apply for other jobs until my technician position comes through.

Get a PIP, start packing your bags!

I have been a Pharmacist for 34 years. I recently was terminated because they said I failed by performance improvement program. This was a witch hunt by a company to get rid of an older worker. I fulfilled by job requirements and always have. I had a new supervisor who was brought in as a head hunter. She was firing Pharmacist left and right and bringing in younger Pharmacist from her former company. All I can say is laugh now, I will laugh later, all the way to the bank!

My advice to people interested in working at #AnazaoHealth as a #PharmacyTechnician ...

I was all for working at Anazao. At the end of it all I became very dissapointed. They used to be a very good company to work for- aftrr they got bought out their attitude went corporate and the way they treated their employees went out the door. I switched departments - when I inquired about pay differential I was given the run around... I was told that I should be happy Im getting paid what I was and accused that my whole motivation for switching departments was motivated by money. Department Pharmacist is on an English only crusade - he has singled out the Spanish speaking employees and has basically mandated that they are only to speak English when they are working. He has told one employee that she was distracting and instructed her to not tallk to anyone. If you make ANY mistake they call you in and bring out the video feeds!
