want to know how to create a resume to put in my document file to apply for jobs online...never did that before..where can I start for free and no extra charges just a free template thanx

Hi I'm Carl I'm trying to fill an application out on line for a job and it never come s up only these sites keep piping up

I want to put myself in a good position to qualify for a production position in their manufacturing plant when the job opening becomes available. They post job openings in short windows literally almost 48 hours at a time. I’m never able to get my application in on-time and everything is done online. I’m thinking about mailing in my resume with a cover letter but I’m afraid my info won’t make it to the right hands. I can’t drive into the plant and ask for HR because they have too much security and I need clearance to have access to the campus.

I have applied online twice for the Dollar General position and spoke to someone on the phone, yet I get 2 or 3 emails about the position every day. Was my application submitted? It's been a long time since I had to apply for a job and this is the first time for me doing it online (things are different these days!) Should I be expecting a call or a confirmation email? thank you for your attention

Is it worth it to apply for jobs online that you see on job boards? I've applied for hundreds of jobs and haven't received one call for an interview from this. I've only received rejections or no response. I get at least 100 e-mails a day from all the job boards I signed up with and I feel like I'm wasting my time on the computer applying for jobs all day. I was laid off. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and 20 years experience as an analyst. Do I need to be doing something differently? I've already contacted all my friends, ex-coworkers, and family to let them know I'm looking. I feel like the only way to get a job is to know someone at the company you are applying for.
