It's hard to find jobs as a young man going to school
I have been going to college to be a nurse for the last 2 years and nobody seems to want a student to work. I just signed up for another semester and I could really use some work on Monday Wednesday and Friday if anybody needs a hand.

Registered Nurse
While I have been a Registered Nurse since 2007 and have a great deal of experience in both psych and med surge, will I be disqualified because I do not have my BSN. I received my RN Diploma in Pennsylvania in 2007. I was a single Mother of two daughters and really just wanted to start to work. To stay in section 8 housing and on welfare for 2 more years would have crushed me. So am I missing out? I want to get my BSN I just haven't had the opportunity.

nursing
its your first time . always have back up no matter what always look for something else while you have that first job .keep on going .but never tell .

Well got fired today.
Well I ended up getting fired by my first nursing job. I just recently graduated out of college in July and found this job in October. There is this doctor who was kind of hateful towards me when I started. That provider kept calling each week over stuff about me, ( don't fully know what I done wrong ) Well over the weekend I was told I screwed up blood labs and I ask how did I manage that? Then the clinic manager said the provider has been calling each week to tell her I been making mistakes and this weekend was my final straw. I told her that I dunno how I mess up when she was right there by the computer with me watching and telling me what to put in. But apparently I wasn't telling the truth and was told I shouldn't lie when I had no clue what was going on. I even told her that nobody said anything to me and why all of a sudden am I fired without getting warnings ? She just wouldn't listen to me. I'm very upset and angry cause it took me so long to find a nursing job and now I gotta find another one when it's extremely hard. Also I had people tell me it was wrong for them to send me away before Christmas. I just don't know what to do. I thought I did everything right but apparently not.

Looking for work
I am currently in the process of looking for work I have applied for maybe 15 different positions in the past month, I am a trained nurse in the U.K. But currently don't have my Florida license yet, I have medical nursing managerial experience and just finished studying for a postgrad in infection control and prevention so looking for something that dosnt require a state license. One problem is that a lot of the available work is looking for someone who is bilingual which I am not, so I think this is going to be a problem for me.

Nursing license
On my nursing license it has deviation and deception and I was wondering if anybody has issues trying to find a job? At the time that I was suspended I was also on Vicodin and Percocet from doctors and dentists and I'm sure I deviated in the hospital. I did not put that I was bipolar on the questioning because I have been stable and didn't feel that it was an issue so I did not put that down after being in treatment it all came out I still have my nursing license but I'm finding it very hard to find a job I'm up front after I interview and then I do not go to call back is there anybody there that could help me and where I could find a job I'm very good nurse I've been sober and clean since 2010. I'm from Minnesota I have a lot of reference letters and very good at what I do and I'm unable to find a job outside of Home Care also on my license it says that so when people see that for jobs they do not call me back after seeing what's on my license. Does anybody have any recommendations where I could find a job where somebody would give me a second chance? They will not take this stuff off of my license even though I completed all of my requirements to keep my license. I'd like to know if anybody has ever heard of nursing getting Second Chances in hospitals?
