Iam looking to move bvb ack to NC but need to make at least 1000 before I go. I'm a carpenter and diesel tech.

I've been working with computers since I was around 10 years old. Now that I'm 34 or 35 (Starting to get harder to keep track of), I've been tinkering with these things to make them do whatever I want for nearly pretty much 25 years. I ran a computer repair shop in Kannapolis, NC for about 6 years before closing it down to pursue building and maintaining security camera systems. I still do that and love the work, but there's just not enough of it. So after losing my night job as a department lead in a manufacturing setting, I went out to my garage and grabbed an old 1st gen quad-core computer, threw a graphics card in it, put 2 monitors on my kitchen table. Then grabbed my old core 2 duo Panasonic Toughbook and set it beside it. Then grabbed an old Dell Latitude D420 that I had laying around from the old computer shop and set it beside the Toughbook. All of them running some form of Ubuntu Linux. I'm going to install Windows 7 or 10 in a Vbox on the desktop so that I have a useful windows system that I can keep running when I don't want to reboot the Toughbook to get into it's Windows 7 installation. I have plenty of workspace on the table in front of all of this. I have webcams, microphones, etc for video conferencing. I have the work-space and the skills. Now, where do I find the employer? I can do anything from data entry to tech support. I can learn any software to be able to walk customers through any pinch they might encounter. I can program in python. Shell scripting. I've used OpenVPN for a long time on my own home network. But I'm a systematic type of person and I'm in need of some entity to be of service to. Any ideas or advice would be very appreciated!

I had a job interview with an aerospace coatings company.The interview didn't go well at all they called me three four months ago and I was in North Carolina and you know I couldn't make the interview at the time but ended up coming to Houston to do some work and they called me again while I was here for an interview. I thought things were going to go pretty well you know I have my hopes up they talk to me the second guy talk to me and pretty much belittled what I already knew keep in mind I've been painting for over 10 years. Well the man offering me $13 and I thought are you serious he belittled what I do and thought that I was going to take a job that is substantially lower than what I already make for the experience that I have he offered me $13 and told me we'll $20 is high as we can go. Hell I make more than that now so how could you really believe that I was going to move across country to a place that only going to offer me 13 bucks entry level on something I've been doing over a decade. I really thought it was unfair but I took one on the chin and I said you know what thanks for nothing and I left. I was very disappointed because everything sounds so great on the phone and to actually go through this place hey man did not turn out like it supposed to very discouraging.
