Im looking for a job in phoenix, Arizona

I am not currently located in Phoenix, Arizona however i will be in two weeks. I don't have any professional experience. I went to a trade school, San Diego Job Corps, there I studied Culinary Arts. I was able to experience work through work base learning. I recently finished the program and i need a job to help give me a helping hand so I can start moving forward on my own and learn what its like to take care of responsibility. I would really appreciate the opportunity! Thank you.

Matt B.

The positions you are recommending are minimal wage and no experiences necesary. Can you please be a bit more diligent to find more appropriate job offerings?

Ongoing job hunt.

I recently completed my B.S. in Management Information Systems. I have found that in the area I'm in (rural) there's not much call for IT. So I branched out even applied for jobs that were more foot in the door less on the It side. I'm getting discouraged because I'm still getting thanks for applying, but we're looking at other applicants. Is it because my lack of work experience? I went to school full-time and took care of my special needs child. So my employment experience is too old to list. Also it has nothing to do with the field I'm trying to get in. I went to CDO work force. Made a resume, the woman looked it over even though she didn't have to because I'm not receiving unemployed benefits. Anything I can do? Change?

I NEED HELP!!!!!

How can I find a good job that I know I’ll be trained to do, when the only places accepting people, where I live, only have like 10 people on staff that know what they’re doing? It’s not like I’m asking a lot, but it’s stupid that you can’t be hired at McDonalds because they don’t have enough experienced employees. I’m just looking for a good entry level job in any industry, that I can work in at 17 years old.

Pretty Lost

It's been sometime since I graduated college and I'm still unemployed. I don't really know where to go from here at this point. I'm only 20 years old and I already feel like a failure. I suffered from severe depression after entering college and in just wanting to end the experience, I graduated with a BA in English. Useless, I know. With very little real job experience, coupled with a shitty GPA and a pointless major, I'm just stuck. I even had a job lined up (offer letter and all). I was foolish enough to pass it up, thinking I could easily get another job because I had to return home to take care of my parents. I still have scholarship money I can use for school but I don't know if I should try to muddle through school again (and get a Masters in Accounting or Business or something similar) or just change directions altogether. Become a nurse, go to trade school, something. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Software requirements for a position

So many companies make the use of an obscure software a mandatory requirement. It would be easier to describe the abilities necessary to perform the job. I realize this saves the company from having you learn or to train you.

Frustrated to no end

So I recently moved for family reason about 2.5 3 weeks ago. I have applied all over this dang town and I've had 2 interviews. Got one job to temporarily hold me over but I need a better job. A lot of those jobs that I've applied to have said either "We are not hiring", "You are not old enough"( wich I could see as I'm 19 and they want someone 21 and older but don't have that on the required), or "You are not what we are looking for". I am a 19 year old who is CPR certified, I am an Eagle Scout, loves to work and has an amazing range of skills. I am so tired of this because I can not find a job within 50 miles of where I am living.

I need a new job.

I was a Firefighter/Paramedic for 28 yrs. I want to do something else. I got my forklift certification but no experience. Do I need to switch around some of my duties like strong customer service and public education?
