I have been out of a job for about four months now. I am focusing on clerical jobs mostly in the school districts around my erea. It seems they all want someone with a degree. But what about all my 25 years experience? Does that not count? and if they dont require a degree they want to pay you nothing. it is very discouraging, I feel like I am never going to get a job that will pay me what I am worth. anyone out there having the same troubles?

I put myself in a box, I worked in Social Services for over 13 years. I got in when a degree was not needed, so getting another job in the same field is impossible. I am unable to figure out where these skills could transfer to.
I am not sure what
