My advice to people interested in working at #CarterCraig as a #LegalAssistant ...

It is by far the best law firm to work for and that you will learn so much and will love the co-workers!

The biggest mistake I made as a #LegalAssistant at #CarterCraig ...

I missed an important deadline but the attorney spoke with me and even though I knew it was my fault and I accepted total blame and even understood if they were to let me go but the attorney was very direct but still nice and explained step by step what would take place and then told me it was ultimately it was their fault the deadline had been missed.

I would tell my past self that working at #Scarborough,HullandMiller is

It was a really great experience. It was the first place I worked at as a legal assistant where I actually felt valued. I helped me to grow as a person and as a business woman. I have left the firm to work my cleaning business with my husband. Because of the experience and encouragement I received from great attorneys, our business is thriving.

Termination

I was terminated from my job. I was told that it was because I "wasn't picking up on how to do the job". Let's start by saying I received little or no training on computer programs they were aware I did not know. I am a legal assistant for over 25 years and I am looking for a position jn New Orleans area.

My question about termination, are you still entitled to unemployment?

Sharon

Looking for a Full-time job

Hello! I recently moved to the United States and I´m looking for job position in the Metroplex area. I was a Lawyer in my Country, but here I can´t practice Law, so I´m willing to get a job as a legal assistance, developing clerical duties or something related. I´m a native spanish speaker.

Not an Attorney!

My resume states I was Legal Assistant and a Receptionist for a law firm. No where does it say anything about being an Attorney. Why are there so many job postings being sent to me for Attorney positions?

Tattoos

Hi. It's been a while since I've had to look for new employment. I've spent 15 years as a legal assistant at a very corporate law firm and 6 years as HR for a notoriously liberal employer. I have some tattoos on my arms and I have a small piercing on my nose. If I was interested in going back to the corporate sector, do you think my tattoos and piercing would disqualify me? Thanks!
