Has anyone else experienced the red tape involved with getting approved for a job at the Census Bureau? I applied December 6th of 2018 and I am still waiting on my background check to be approved. I do not smoke, do not drink and have no criminal past that I know of. I think they could make the process a little more streamlined to get people in there faster. Has anyone else experienced working for Federal Government and what were your experiences on the background check?

Have had messages from employers and when I call back they don't call me back? Why leave me a message wanting to interview me but not call me back?

I been going on jobs interview and haven’t heard nothing back I need a job bad bills need to be pay I just don’t know what to do I be online all day applying for jobs it’s been 6 months

I have been looking for work for over 3 months I have over 6 years of Staffing Management I go to interviews over and over again only to receive a call saying we have decided to go with another candidate closer to us, I’m so overwhelmed and when I apply for a more simple position I’m overqualified HELP!

Have you ever gone online and you see a job that you really want and you look at the skills that the person that's hiring put up and you say oh I got the skills I can do this job and when you apply and you got a response back they just say you're overqualified I mean really do managers or owners of companies want under-qualified people?

The one thing that takes forever in the job hunting process, is the waiting game. You do millions of interviews, video interviews, phone interviews, face to face interviews, and you know in ur heart and mind you nailed them.But now it's the waiting for that special call or email saying "Your Hired" I watch my phone check my emails 80 times a day but still...Waiting ....
