I was able to smooth it over with myexceptional costumer service abilities

Working with all various types of people

I liked the work enviroment. Everyone was nice and respectful......

Struggling so hard to find a job , I've been looking for 8 months . I fill out an application and than 2 days later I call the job and they keep telling me "we will give u a call back" than they never call me back and I keep calling and they tell me the same thing . I'm just trying to work again

I though I did everything right. I applied, got accepted by a franchise store with Dominos Pizza because they would love to hire me for a rare position I was highly qualified for. Did the interview, assessments and and exams i had to take for safety and all online legal paperwork for background checks, was under corporate review for nearly two weeks just to get denied. I'm safety nut without any known criminal history. I was sure to get the job and the store itself was really wanting to hire me but I got no job offer without told a reason at all. What the heck i feel double crossed by the company, What the heck?

Just want to say it's really cool yall have this forum where you read other job hunters' stories or advice. Its frustrating and scary job searching when you're unemployed and you know your money is only going to last a few more weeks. Is there anybody here in the Houston area? I'm an accountant and there are hundreds of jobs but seems like 1000 applicants to every job I apply to. I'll get calls and then its like they just forget about me, I think they have so many to choose from that they get overwhelmed. I guess its better than no job postings. Anyways...I have found this forum helpful, it helps to hear others' stories and see that I'm not alone during this anxious time...wish all of you good luck!

You sound like a big L

I spent 3 weeks doing an interview with a Pharma Company, went through all the stages, phone interview, F2F with the hiring Manager, F2F with her manager and it all went perfectly. At the end, the recruiter representing me was told by the Pharma Company's HR department that they wanted to bring me on board. I was totally excited. On their part after each F2F meeting the Hiring Manager and her boss/manager told me the same and asked me about my availability. I was so excited. Two days later I got a call from another recruiter about the same job with the same company. I was shocked so I immediately called the recruiter representing me and she said she just heard that they were passing on the position...... All I could say is OMG is this for real!!!! Someone please tell me why do employers do that?

I applied for a job that was on a job site, only to realize after I had made the appointment for a phone interview that it was not possible for me to fulfill the obligation of the job; the job started at 5 am & I didn't get off my other job until 6:30 a m. I e-mailed the person and told him I had to cancel and why, he said if circumstances ever changed to contact him. I told him if they ever got a weekend job that was 5 pm - 5 am to keep me in mind. He told me they do have that shift but not many people could handle it & a full time job, to which I replied 'I already work 4 10 hour shifts.'
I have a 15 minute phone interview for Friday, what should I expect?
Any POSITIVE input will be greatly appreciated.

Had an interview that lasted only about 15 minutes and hope that isn't a bad sign. Interviewer gave a lot of info and I answered his questions best I could. Played his cards close to the vest but he did say he would contact the recruiter later and did remind me to give him my application just before interview was over. Hope that is a good thing. Fingers crossed.
