Hello all,

Just wanted to let you know about another job scam out there. Its a company called Ad Alta. This is a real company but based in Australia. A gentleman contacted me by the name Blake Hammond and he said I had an interview appt. on gmail hangouts with a guy named William. This is a bogus job. I have reported it to the Better Business Bureau.

Received a text message on my cell for a Babysitting job....I wrote back the following.....

Dear Amber..I received a text message to take care of your child who is 7 years old..Please let me know the details and where you are located..I'd be more then happy to taking care of your child Thank You, Gloria H e-mail address

Honestly so Sick of these Recruiting sites Not screening these Scammers.....We as honest people looking for employment. I think we should hold these Recruiters accountable for all these Scams.......Just my opinion..

Has anyone ever heard of Artech Information Systems, or Acro Service Corporation. They are both staffing firms. They call me quite regularly asking if I'm seeking employment. They tell me about a position and ask if I'm interested and can they submit an application. I always tell them yes, and please do. They immediately send what they call a confirmation e-mail requesting personal info like DOB and part of my ssn. The very first offer I got I supplied the requested info. and sent my reply back, but never heard anything except for two more calls that week about the same job. I informed them that my application was suppose to have already been submitted. A week or so goes by and they call me about a completely different position, with another company, but never acknowledge what happened with the last one. I have never gotten past the "confirmation emails," and stopped providing any personal info because they just seem shady. They sound Indian or Middle Eastern. I finally told them to stop contacting me and began to get calls from callers with similar accents claiming they were the IRS, or Student Loan Program. My questions are am I the only one? Did they sell my info to identity thieves? Are either of these companies legit? And if so has anyone gotten a phone interview, face-to-face or a temp assignment through either? I keep hearing stories about people getting offer letters, showing up and filling out paperwork only to have the offer retracted. If they tried something like that with me, my right hand to God, I would lose it.

Is it just me that is experiencing this? You apply for a job as a customer service rep and. Theyre all sales jobs. 100% commission. That would be fine if they would state that in the.job summary. So you go to the interview, its not the job you applied for, the position, or.the same.pay scale. And are all google.hangouts interviews scams? I get 2 or 3 of these a week. All these employers are lying about positions, the pay scale, and dont give you all the information in the job summary. I feel misled, lied to, and confused . But mostly outraged. I schedule my.interview on my days off, get dressed up, arrive early only to find out i wasted my time. The job isnt even working in an office, its an outside sales job. Can anyone else.relate to my.frustration?

Recruiter phoned me just today, scheduling a next day job interview. Salary starting @ 40,000-60,000. Job description is to explain & assist healthcare/insurance application to employees. Question asked: Do I have a car? Recruiter told me to dress formal, bring 2 references' name & #, my resume & expect to be in interview for 2 hours and it will be intense. I was thrilled. . . .until recollectin'my memory of last summer . I had 1 crappy experience with SAME Insurance agency. Recruiter did not mention I'd be in a session with 20 additional job seekers listening to some guy standing before us all as he make his looong, drawn out presentation about how to earn soooo much money and make it to the top! He chats and demonstr8 using slide show. Someone's cell ph may vibrate and he scolds them. No one is dressed in formal attire. "Interview" goes beyond 2 hours. No refreshments. No h2o. The speaker stated "Ask NO Questions until after the entire presention. HE TALK, TALK, TALK. He makes a plain statement that everyone will not get the job. I stood up to excuse myself from the group and he went off. I stated 'I was headed to the restrm'. (....and will not be back. WHAT A WAIST OF TIME, GAS & CASH y'kno I'm starving by now!) I don't think I was employed at that time and I am certainly not losing money on that joke of a job. I would have to drive my vehicle to various county residences who are employed. Not my forte.

Recvd 3 calls this mornong from same no.. i called back, they said theyd call me and they did, in a heavy Chinese accent they tried to tell me i owed the IRS. I told them they were on a recorded line, this was a scam, and they were in trouble. They didnt call me back. Really!,

I recently received an employment agreement with a potential employer and sent it back to them. They in turn sent me a direct deposit form for my first paycheck. The company seems kinda shady whereas i cant find out much about them on the web and I'm wary about giving out my routing #'s and banking info. Is this a scam?

Person on peopleperhour posting job accepts offer and handles interview on Google Hangout. Interview company information seems legit until they want to send you a check only for software vendor. They sent me a check that did not deliver. Spoke with Fedex who sent the package back to sender. The person goes by Michael Cage using Dubai Healthcare name.

i recieved a job offer to open up a new office for Cheisi Farmaceuticals which is a legitimate company but the people that claimed to represent them are not part of the company they sent me a check to buy software and to help situate a new office the check that came via fed ex was a cashier check (red flag there). so i took this to my credit union and let them run an investigation, and behold not a good check (not a surprise). the one that has been in contact with me is going by the name Brandon Campbel and he claims to be with Cheisi HR department. This is just one of many scams out there with the same MMO just different company name. This Brandon Campbel is still contacting me to see if the check cleared so we can get started. I now have his IP address and have turned it over to the FBI along with the check. This particular scam came to me via Zip Recruiter.
