Rejoice in times of trouble
Hello JobCase my name is D'Andre Lewis I been a member for a year and some months on this website. Through each and every post that I have read from every invidual on here, My eye's have been open to amazing facts and experiences. It's tough losing a job knowing you have a family to feed and people counting on you. But through every hardship I have came across, Thy Lord has worked each problem out for me in ways human man could not possibly do. When problems come in our life, they are not to punish us but to make us stronger for those who believe in Christ Jesus. I'm not here to preach, but I have to let every ear know that the Lord has a plan for each person no matter if you believe in him or not. The Lord want put anymore on you that you can't bare, the bottom line to all this is. When it seems like your life is in the slumps and in darkness, the Lord is preparing a new open door for you, hope in what you can't see and watch the blessings pour like rain. God bless Thank You JobCase.

Team! Remember you are not alone.
Isaiah 41:10King James Version (KJV)
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Practicum Student/Experienced
Wow, I was receiving messages from "Job Case" and I originally thought this was a company hiring people! I must say I am familiar with some of the fake jobs if I may say, and recruiters that were a total waste of time. I found in today's job market it's very fierce and you can sometimes find yourself on the chopping block. I know that there are recruiters out there that have gave my name & resume a drag through the mud! "WHY" because they can. But then, there's the fact that we do sometimes became desperate to work that we don't take the time to recognize what's truly worth the time, hump, and pay. Desperation majority of the TIME adds to the stress of being desperate. If you know that you left a job in a bad way expect turmoil from that company 1% chance of not being (BB). From my personal experience and facts there has been times when I'm preparing to go on a interview and get a call where they have changed their minds, and won't provide you with a reason why. But know it may be because there's a red flag by your name to recruiters saying (HR) high risk, and not human resource (potential. There maybe the issue of having a criminal record, bad credit, or too many parking tickets. There's even the political view of things (Lawsuits) yeah if you're suing the government or any part of it. Leave out applying for a job anytime soon. This would normally piss them off to where they might want to ruin your life. Remember I said facts I'm not here for assumptions & allegations with accusations. There are many things you can do around this! Work around it! Change your accounts every month, passwords too! Change your resume every month. There are different ways you can re-introduce your self. Change your contact numbers for employers. Use a different address when applying for job, not just any address but where you can be reached. It's real especially if you're suffering these facts for a 6-12 months duration. Success is not easy and our burdens are our greatest allies (Destiny) Go get it! Fight Back & stop complaining it only ignites the enemy in your suffering & struggles. Get-up every day and do something productive towards your future just don't complain because it gives joy to the opposition of your wants & needs. Now, let me leave you with this: if and when a job comes through to you and you have to travel 1st make sure it's not a waste of your time, 2nd don't waste their time even if they are getting most of the commission, and last doing something out of desperation is only going to make you quite faster than you got hired! Big eye opener here "LOOK" for job fairs they're not a waste of time as they don't have time to waste. Their looking for good people. Know when to apply yourself. If you know something is hindering you, take care of your distractions first. Be ready to apply yourself fulltime at whatever it is you're going after, if you don't the next person will. Make sacrifices nothing is free. Never pay to get hired NEVER! If you live by faith pray for that job!!!! If you're looking to "Job Hop" you're not ready take some more time to think things through! Things you don't do in the job hunt: don't complain, don't get distracted, and don't ever talk bad about any company, bitterness does not get us hired! Apply to 1000 jobs, 40 will reply, 10 will be interested, 3 will lead to interviews, 1 will take you through hell to hire you, and then they won't! What does this means: quit, no hit it again, but this time hit it (HARDER). The world needs, never give up type of people! Not people that's going to complain. Make an offering in the form of your complaints & give them to a HIGHER POWER! It's that 1job out there that the opposition doesn't want you to have & their going to do everything in their power to keep you from getting even close to it! Humble yourself, ask yourself what are you doing wrong, or even who can be (BBing) me? IT DOESN'T MATTER! LITERALLY! Re-Introduce yourself to the world & go get it! NEVER GIVE -UP or THEY WIN!

Believe in yourself
Believe in your self and all that you are know that there is something inside of you that can overcome any obstacle author unknown I was out seeing a patient and saw this and I wrote it down and believed in this and shortly there after found a GREAT JOB. I WISH ALL OF YOU THE BEST OF LUCK... BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!

"WHY TAKE LIFE SO SERIOUSLY???" - THERE'S A MESSAGE THAT GOES WITH THAT...
Not long ago, I mentioned to my wife that I felt like someone had snatched the keys to the world right out of my pocket, and I wasn't ready to hand them over yet. True story... But at 55 years old, I'm not giving up and haven't once even considered it. I've lea a "charmed life", had plenty of experiences to write 10 books and still have left overs.
As a young man, I was more like Indiana Jones than I was my father. I sought adventure and adrenaline. Both could be considered my "Drug of Choice", if you will. Although I've been officially "unemployed' since June of 2013, I face every day with the same energy and exuberance that I did when I was 21, generally with a smile on my face and meet every challenge that confronts me in the same manner.
I've been asked many times what my best moments were in my life.... and the worst. I try to remain focused on the best moments, because the worst moments are so very very bad & tragic that most people couldn't even begin to fathom it. I've seen the very worst of humanity, and I've witnessed simple acts of kindness that have stymied me to the point of speechlessness, with a mouth gaping wide and dropped to the floor.
People are amazing to me. The powers that influence them to make the decisions they make. Yet, through it all, they manage to create a great amount of enjoyment for me. So, I try my level best to help other with the trial and tribulations they're confronted with. When I'm there to help, even if it's just to carry the neighbor lady's groceries in the door - they make me chuckle as they look at me with a "half-a-smile" on their faces, and you know that the question on their lips is the old, "What planet did you come from..." but it never gets out of their mouth. It really is too funny.
As a former paramedic, I saw it all. From massive life loss due to a disasters, or attacks that occur domestically by people that we don't know or even understand due to language barriers, to holding my newborn child that my wife delivered... right into my hands while racing to the hospital with the lights and sirens blaring. ( happening on more than one occasion, with more than one of my kids... and it really wasn't intentional.)
I was invited this morning, by the folks here at Jobcase, to write something inspiring - and to remind myself why I am worth the job I want, and that perhaps someone else would have a moment to reflect upon the job they want and why they're worth it...
I won't lie, I'm worth hiring because I am the VERY best at what I do, because I am honest and hardworking, and continue to give everyone sound and sage advice here, when the need arises, I draw my strengths through my confidence in myself, my skills to do a job quickly and efficiently, while guarding the bottom line of the business from costly mistakes, or just not controlling the project's budget.
I've been told - to my face, that I wasn't relevant any longer, that my knowledge, skills and abilities had become obsolete in this techie culture that is driven by an insatiable desire for instant gratification. But, here is a secret that they either don't know, or they just don't "get it" - and that is to never take life too seriously, because (and please, please, please!!! think about this now...). So, let me repeat that everyone should never take life too seriously.... because, your never getting out alive!
keep smiling everyone. I can tell you from experience that every disaster does end... sometimes sooner that others.
Good Luck everyone... I'll be around,
Scot

I am thankful for my family, my friends and my health! I am thankful I can send my son off to school with a smile on his face every morning. By making his day great, I know my day is going to be great! By thankful we can watch the sun come up every morning and watch it set every night. Do something good for someone else everyday. Just watching their face light up will be enough to make your day. Live everyday to the fullest and enjoy every moment. Make the most of everyday because you never know when it will be your last. We are all in this together.
