Hello everyone, I am an Indian moved to the United States. I have total 5 years of experience as an Account receivables( finance) I have been to two interviews so far but never heard back from them. At one job I cleared the first round and the HR called me to have a conversation with me and I answered all the questions the same way I answered in the first round and got short listed but the HR never called me back.They didn't reply to my emails either.I was wondering if they are not considering me cos I'm a foreigner ? I am a permanent resident of the United States(Green card holder)
The story so far..
I am currently working as a Manager in India's biggest IT Company. I am based out of Mumbai.
I have an experience of 16 years in various roles in Call Center Operations, People Management, Performance Improvement and Consultation.
I have worked for companies like GE Capital, HCL Technologies, WNS Global Services and Tata Consultancy Services.
My current role is of consulting and training. My job is to set up front office and back office for a Shipping client. I have been a part of this set up for the last 2.5 years and have successfully rolled out this program in 5 different countries. I traveled to Italy , Greece, China, USA and S.Korea.
My current project has been put on hold due to budget issues with the client.
I am looking for a change where I can fully utilize my potential and exploit my expertise.
I am not satisfied with my current salary as I have been getting promotions internally and I have not made a change in the last 10 years.
I love travelling and have no issues with relocating else where, if given a good opportunity.
