I have been unemployed since September, bills piling up, and after my car broke down i lost my job now i am in a homeless shelter. I have so much experience but its getting so frustrating when no one notices, and I am soo tired of filling out app after app and nothing happens but an email saying they have decided to go with another applicant

Relocated to Richmond, VA and have a great employment opportunity however I seem to have exhausted every means of finding apartment or efficiency within 10-15 miles from job. I had my own business prior to moving so I have to wait months working here until I can verify 3 times the rent per month. I offer to pay all three months in advance on a three month lease and they still would not budge. I know this is indirectly related to employment but many people relocate. Any assistance or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Next week moving into the veteran tent — oh joy!! The short, 2012 finished two masters. 2014 passed CPA exam two years to get a job to qualify for license. 2016 start work for license Dec 2017 laid-off, moved office, the one i worked in and i was a temp Over 11 years i’ve been a temp No one knew i was having brain surgery thru nose in Feb 2018. Worked 3 months for 2018, so EDD ran out. Now can’t pay bills. hmless, check engine light came on yesterday. Somebody shoot me!

i’m 56y female who completed 2 masters (accounting, mba in finance), passed CPA exam 2014, took me 2y to get a job under CPA , then trained 1y for license —issued in 2017, Sept. Dec 15, 2017, laid off and had brain surgery on valentines (thru nose). worked 3 months all year-2018. Next week I’m moving into homeless shelter. My check engine light came on yesterday. i’m so depressed; atypical for me and i’m tired. Can’t pay bills. I’ve been a temp employee for 11y now. Only health issues i had was this brain thing and hysterectomy in 2002. Not sure what to think anymore. i must be too fat or maybe too female...lol.

After posting that i was looking for a work from home position , i realized that after getting multiple leads for jobs , that my skills are a bit outdated since i havnt worked for a number of years , and im on disability, I found that I should probably go thru the soc sec Ticket to Work Program, so I dont lose my medical and my benefits while trying to enter the work force again , so I dont have to live on a Poverty level income from soc sec. , does anyone have some input on this . I could sure use the knowledgeable advice. Maybe its a no brainer but im not sure , how to go about this, even though I use to be involved with similar situations in my past job, many years ago, I guess The Mind Is Terrible Thing To waste. Unexpectedly my household income has come to just mine and due to weather conditions my hours at work have been cut drastically I have no idea how I am going to even pay my rent I have accepted that I will be alone for the holidays this year yet I just got a place after being homeless for 3 years. God help me I am willing to do anything to keep my place been looking for a second job just not sure I will have the $700 by the 3rd. Just don't know what else to do and my life has always been hard and I know it always will be just stupidly hoping for even the smallest break I will take it.

I just recently lost my job and now I need to find something quick so I don’t lose the apartment I have with my boyfriend. I worked as a cashier but no retail has gotten back to me and it’s taking a while for any job to get back to me. I don’t get it. What can I do?

I have been looking for work since July and I’m baffled as to why I’m not getting anything. I’m also homeless and this even compounds my situation even more. Any suggestions. I can use all the prayer I can get.

The middle of September I turned 60 years old, I had asked the employer I was working for if I could go to part time because I was losing all my benefits working full-time. The pay however, wasn't enough for me to live on without my benefits of Social security disablity and my medical through the state. Well long story short two weeks after I asked to go to Part time I was being walked out the door for customer mistreat. I was blown away by this really.All my surveys for users were coming back 10 which is the outstanding service stamp according to the company. Then I get told I mistreated a customer in email. Also failed to authenicate someone back in july? When I filed for unemployment however, they stated totally different reasons for terminating from the company.My unemployment has been denied and I am getting ready to lose my home, my car and everything. I was homeless three years for eight months I can't do that again I am fighting the determination of unemployment even told them I wanted to see he originals of all coachings and Finals they are now saying they gave me. ( all of switch are lies) even said if need be i will bring my Attorney into it. Was I wrong to say that?
