I have been unemployed for 13 months, I have went on countless interviews, but none of them have called me back I don’t if it’s because my past supervisor no longer works for the company so my reference aren’t to good but I have given them their personal numbers, of course with their permission, and I know that it can’t be because I lack the experience . I just don’t know what to do I have lost my apartment and my car because the lack of funds. And to top it off I am a mother to 3 minor kids.

I lost my job 3 days before Xmas. Been supporting 4 kids on 315 dollars of unemployment for 2 months now. My water gets shut off Tuesday and our landlord refuses to work with me on rent so he is filing eviction tomorrow. I'm 39 years old never thought I would loose my job and shocked I have been unemployed this long. I'm loosing all hope for finding a job. I have no clue what I'm gonna do when we get kicked out of our home. It's amazing how you work hard to provide a great life for your kids and live safe, and then with a flip of a switch it's all gone.. for every application I fill out, or resume I email I hope someone just gives me an interview. 20 years of sales, human resources, and brand developing and not one call. Sorry I need to vent because I've never been so scared. I hope any of you job seekers out there get your next job soon.

I work as a sub teacher - & like it! Only I'm lucky if I make $2000 mo, supporting myself. We are paid once a month on the 10th from 2 months back. This month, March, we will get paid for Dec - we were off for 3 wks due to the Winter Holidays. This is the first year I don't have much savings. My roommates & myself need to move out of the house by mid March, as the owner is moving back. I have a cat - hard to find rentals that allow that. Looked at a place this morning, & the lady is thinking about it. (is this bad karma or what?) I was worried, so I took a cash advance out for $2200 & the payments are going to be $100/mo! (my family have not responded in lending me $$).

Can you think of any other option?

I was just let go they said they weren't giving a permanent contract cause my temporary one was about to expire for the reason that someone started a fire in the complex laundry mat I also live there but I wasn't on call and I was doing my laundry so notice smoke and exited immediately so I as I dialed 911 they said they were already on their way so the next day they said I didnt act or call quick enough and said that's not the reason they weren't renewing my contract but did it anyway six days before this past Xmas so I was collecting my unemployment that I had left from Walmart and they told unemployment all about this and they put a hold on it I believe I have a case someone point me in the direction of to go about bringing a lwasuit against them because I was let go because I was gonna blow the whistle on mold issues and just the way they run it like slumlords and hide and cover up shit from the housing authority help

I've been out of the Marine Corps since December 2018 and I was promised help with job searching but once I got out all times were cut. Now I'm having a hard time out here in the world show8myself what I can do. I'm an Avionics Technician I worked on the CH53E. I can do electrical work. I'm 22 years old and I'm running low on my money for bills. Please someone help me. I don't wanna be homeless.

I went to the Interview as a housekeeper and got hired the job on the spot. I have been unemployed since December living back with my mom and kids.

First of all get shelter for you and your son. There are services available. You also can get social services to help with a temporary income until you get on your feet. There are employment agencies that can help you find a job. Good luck!

My Family,we are accomodated when our home got flooded due of typhoon Ondoy,My husband is still currently works there as Supervisor,So he ask permission if we can stay there for free,in return, The Boss, ask help for me to Supervised alone on a Canteen his planning to have for the Employees. No second Thought i accept the offer. i'll do The market,cooking ,cleaning,serving,budgetting and planning...Salary....i have no salary instead in whatever income comes...50/50 shares...for the company and me...and it lasts 5 yrs.coz the company needs to transfer in much bigger place,so we are not able to come with them anymore,and start to rent a house... rhats why i do searching jobs related to my last job experience.. hope this may help for me to get hired at your good company.i stayed motivated for he extend help to our whole family...we lived there free,no rent,no electric bills nor water bills but most of, i enjoyed doing my job....Thank you!!
