I stayed positive and motivated at my job by...
Mainly the money was the driving force. At times or all the time People is People with Several different Perspectives and Characteristics...And Uber and Lyft failed 1000 percent all the time too; because of it...Uber and Lyft Driving Force is their Ratings. So throughout your time while doing ride-sharing. Your a Robot and not being yourself. Because of fear of getting a bad Rating or receiving a Write Up; from a customer having a bad day. And the driver is a victim of circumstance because of it too...

I need a second chance
So I am in Some legal drama right now and I filled out a Job application finding myself having to lie and to tell them what they want to hear I know they are doing back ground checks and it reveals my checkard past I am taking all the steps nessary I dont think I can do any driving jobs cause I have a DUI on my record and right now they have some pretty sketchy charges aggainst me like Petit theft and battery but the Petit theft charge in one case was a misunderstanding I stole 3 dollars from the tip jar at Black dog cafe and they charged me in that case I gave back the money I stole And they assumed the two 5s and the 1 dollar bill was also stolen I had to spend 3 weeks in Jail and I feel like I am wasting my time filling out applications having to lie on some questions cause I feel like if I am Honest they would not give me a chance I deserve I am in recovery and willing to take that road seriously And I cant work for the circle K cause I am banned from two of them in town and I keep getting sent stuff that dont hire for me in my situtation I am willing to wait till this all blows over but I need work now to pay for all this legal drama and I am tired of jobs that ask stupid questions and when I am Honest they judge me and reject me and I am tired of being passed over and Not even getting a freakin interview and they say I dont have the qualifictions and I say its Bull crap the only job that did Hire me was Avon and that lost money and Burger king the hiring manager was nice but the main supervisor over him was mean and unprofessional she complained about my preformance to a person seeking employment there so I dont know what to do I want to make an honest liviing but it seems like I have no choice but to deal drugs or something but I just wanna know are there any options for me or should I just give up all together just feeling discourgaeged and at the end of my rope

New job
So I posted earlier about getting fired from my job because I went on another interview because my current job wasn't giving me 40 hours a week when all our competitors were swamped with work. My company found out I took an interview even though I was up front with them if they couldn't give me 40 hours I would be forced to. Long story short... I have been on unemployment, and was ready to retrain and go back to my last trade... I was waiting for the workforce to approve helping to pay for it, and give me additional weeks of benefits while I was training. I got a call about a technicians job (I am currently doing HVAC/R even though I am a mechanical engineer by trade, and also and have a computer science degree.) They wanted a technician and were paying very well. I interviewed and got a call within 3 hours from corporate and they told me not only did they want to offer me a job, they felt I had more knowledge than anyone they had interviewed and decided I should be a supervisor vs a technician. I will tell you before that news... I was pretty much ready to give up. Sometimes when things seem they are at its worse.... things work out. If you are in the same position... never give up.

DO NOT WORK HERE!
I had to quit my work at home job at Rev as a Caption-er. I thought everything was fine, and it was a dream job to have. Even though the work was so hard, I mean for one 10 minute Audio it would take you like 3 hours just to earn 7 bucks. I still didn't care I thought it still was good to me. But then as a rookie I completed the audio time to become a full Rev. But no instead I got an email telling me that if I do not complete another 85 captions to get my scores up to like an A+ then my account would be closed. I developed bronchitis working my ass off for them to tell me my account will be closed if I am not an A+ Student in the scores. No one work here it is a scam, or for the super A+ impossible person. Check the reviews, and you'll see I am not lying. It is not worth even the money, its almost like slave driving you! What a disappointment!

Job with no sponsor
I am an industrial electrical technician here in Nigeria, due to bad economy and economic hardship, i intend to seek greener pasture out side Nigeria, so i applied for job online fortunately for i found jobs, atleast i found like 3 job which they sent my appointment letter and offer of employment in America. They must disgusting side is that i have no money to sponsor myself, no sponsor to sponsor my traveling to get a job, not even company who will care to sponsor my traveling over so i can pay back installmentally when i earn my monthly dues. All i hope is to seek survival in another country so i can be able to take good care of my pregnant wife and kids. Pls is there company or employer who can sponsor anyone from any location who fit a work criteria relocate and later pay back when such a person gets a job either in US or Canada? Are there no one who can help the helpless who is vibrant and agile to work relocate to get a better job offer and later pay back? Because I'm desperately in need of such an angel in human form who can help me with job and relocation sponsoring in which i will pay back as soon as i get a job so i can take care of my family. Thank you.

Venting
Hi all, I would like to vent if I may so here. I have just celebrated 10 years of living with lupus. I also have a loss of hearing that's about 5 years because of having Lupus. I haven't has a job since 2012 because I was so sick. Fast forward to 2016 started feeling better health wise enrolled in school to complete the master degree in accounting. I graduated last year June 2018. I also have been volunteering to work at the Lupus Society of IL because I was told it will help with getting out and networking. So this year I've put out 100 hundreds of applications and have recruiters looking. I have applied for internships to even try to get in the door but it seems they want younger college kids still in school. It gets interviews, and I have come very close to having my dream job but turn around and get turned down I'm not giving up but it is very hard.
