I need help finding a job after being an at home mom for 7 years

After landing in new york last december, and securing my work permit in june this year...have been struggling to find an appropriate work opportunity in human resources. Having worked in human resources for 7+yrs in India before taking a break from work due to family responsibilities. Now again I want to come back to work...but right now I am struggling to find an appropriate consultant or portal to guide me through...

Hey all. I’m new here and thought I’d put feelers out to see what “home based” jobs are available out there!! I’ve been a stay at home mom for 22 years, I suffer from Osteoarthritis so being in the field can be a tough position for me. Any advice, guidance or help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!

I've been in dissability for over 25 yrs. I'm healthy and believe I can work. My obstacle is once I start my job history in it there is a gap of 25yrs. I list disabled and don't call us we'll call you. How can this be avoided.

Trying to rejoin the work force after a 2 year break. Willing to branch out from skilled nursing into other industries. Have applied to numerous positions and not been offered a position. I have 19 years of very successful experience and at one time was the go to person for advice, hard to place patients, pay source issues. I don't know what to do about this situation. I don't understand why I am having such a hard time. Work used to come to me without me searching. Now I feel like I have the plague and no one will come near me. Any suggestions? Any opportunities that I have not seen? Donna

I'm from Cincinnati . I'm looking for a job . These are my problems I am a multiple offender , I don't have a car or transportation , I have multiple gaps in my work history. I'm ready willing and able to work. I'm looking for help to try and get around these down falls. I don't have time to spend at any agency that will take time away from getting paid because I have bills stacking up. I also really don't want to relapse into doing the wrong thing. I really need to hear from someone who can seriously identify with me and who'll be willing to help me successfully navigate my way to being employed. Any and all advice will be accepted but I need to hear from people who really know how I need to do this and can help me get it done, as I said I'll listen to anyone who's willing to help
