Never Assume!

I applied for a job that is in a way what I do now but with more hours and benefits. I hadn't heard from them in a month since I took the test they require and assumed somebody else got hired or they just weren't interested. I was wrong and got some feed back to go to the next process level. Wish me luck and cross your fingers for me please. This is a great career move job with excellent retirement.

Is there such a thing as Positive Criticism?

I’ve been asked to provide feedback on an ongoing team project involving some very egocentric coworkers and I don’t know how to accomplish this without creating workplace enemies!

Politics and work don't mix, right?

I suggest people really leave politics out of the workplace. But as we enter a crazy election year - I am wondering what stories, advice, or guidance you have about Politics and jobsearch, or politics and worklife in general......

Thank You Jobcase!!

Well I didn't find my dream job...lol but I did find a temporary job that can turn into a permanent job. I still have an opportunity at another job that I'm waiting here back from. Both jobs I found on this site. To all other job seekers, don't give up. There are opportunities out there. You just have to keep knocking on the doors. Make sure that you complete your profile as much as possible. I wish you all the best of luck!

Hi Sajida: Jeff brings up some good points here. But I would also suggest getting in contact with UPS about your application - you don't have to wait to hear back from employers. Call the location you applied to and ask about your application. It could be the push they need to give you an interview!

You should always be, and stay consistent. Calling everyday increases your chance of receiving the position.

All I see are jobs listed and tagged with UBER..... UBER you have a place like everyone else quit wasting our valuable time and list like everyone else...

UBER may be new and upcoming but when you attach your name to every job listing it takes away our job seeking time and discredits your name...
