Hi my name is Anya Steward. I understand the struggle its been hard since i graduated 2 years ago and received my Associate's degree in Office Administration. I tried looking for a job in my field they say i don't have the experience they are looking for that was very discouraging. I continued to pray and ask the Lord for guidance. After 8 months im working right now at a health food store which im grateful and will start working at fedex next week. Will be working the early voting as well and have a business helping business owners with their processing needs. Things will get better ask God for guidance believe in yourself. You got this you are amazing make them see it.

From my personal experience, i was employed by fedex freight for 19+ years. Last october i had open heart surgery. I was cleared to come back to work with limiitations. I could perform every part of my job, but i was limited to lift no more than 50lbs. I went through an RAR review which i was granted to return to work. All current dot endorsements were up to date, and i past my dot physical. After i jumped through hoops to get all my requirements met the phone calls stopped coming. I was asked to go to my doctor and get another doctors letter, that was going to be the same one like i got before for another RAR review within only 2 weeks from the first one. When i got the second RAR letter back i was informed that i was denied. Ultimately i was let go after 19+yrs on a separation. I am very dissapointed in fedex freight the way they treated me. The point im trying to make is dont have a major ailment or surgery where ur not an asset to the company. They will treat u like trash!!

Last week I had an interview with FedEx it went well, I’m currently waiting on my orientation; but in the meantime I’m preparing myself for this next interview with Kohl’s Tuesday morning. Super excited because after I set up the time and day for Kohl’s I got a full time warehouse offer from Home Depot. God has been so good to me, all these jobs are pouring in and I’m taking them as I go! But if I get them all I can only take two due to the fact I need to spend quality time with my baby. Pray for me y’all!
