Stay at home mom trying to get back into the work force
I’ve been a stay at home mom for 10 plus years now, and now that my children are no longer needing me at home I have been trying to get a part time job just about anywhere at this point because for some reason the 1,000s of job applications I have submitted in the last year not one interview not one response back from anyone! I have really excellent job skills but nobody seems to want to even talk to me after seeing my resume and application I am beginning to think I may never be able to get back into the work force! I’m very discouraged!

Can’t even get an interview!
Hi All, is it me or is it basically impossible to even be acknowledged when applying for jobs? Thanks! Carla

Need a little help....
I moved here about a year and a half ago from North Carolina. I was a chef and a server and I worked hard and enjoyed coming home, satisfied and proud that I helped my boss and their business. I met my fiance and quit working and shortly thereafter, i was pregnant and we moved to another state.During this time i was unemployed due to pregnancy and taking care of my step kids. Now I want to work again, and ive sent out many applications to restaurants, but no one has contacted me back. Why is that?

Keep getting turned down
I'm on the verge of loosing everything. My home, that we have had for almost five years is going into foreclosure due to the fact that payments can't be made. I have put in applications all over but no one has gotta back to me..Im getting frustrated and my husband keeps telling that he can't do it by himself. I tried everything..whst eles can I do.

Job seeker
How do get a job when you have to apply on line to all these companies that "represent" the companies that have the jobs. Only problem is you never hear back about a job. You get calls from every place but them trying to sell you something..its impossible and very frustrating.

Job Search
The hardest part of my job search is getting "the call" for an interview. I am constantly having my resume viewed dozens of times, but I'm just shy of the next step. Currently, I am still applying; I am optimistic.

Feeling extremely discouraged in the job search
Been out of work for almost five months. Seems like I'm never going to get hired anywhere. I can't even get an interview and have been applying to many places.

Hard to seek an on-site interview
it is so rare to have an on-site interview in terms of the number of applications

Unbelievable
The other day I opened a email that was from a human resource manager from a company that I had applied for. The manager was apologizing for taking so lon to reply. Apparently I applied for a position two months ago. I called because I thought this was very nice of him to take the time to send me the message. I also informed him that this process does not work like that for me. He then requested an explaination. I told him if I look for a job on Monday by Thursday or Friday I will have a new job. If you wait two months you have missed your opportunity. That is how it works.

Am I ever going to get a job?
I'm up to 77 applications and still nothing. I am beyond frustrated. I can't use my nursing license right now. I need someone to try and help me get it reinstated when I get down there. But everything in my life is up in the air because I don't get no responses. I have so much experience and just got a masters degree. I get more frustrated every day!
