What I loved working at #Dr.JohnLanzone

I loved working with and helping the patients the most and I learned that love from Dr. Lanzone and the girls that worked in the office. They taught me to love the patients as they did-that those patients are coming in nervous and not sure of anything and we were there to help them feel comfortable and ease their fears.

Drama at #Dr.GregoryCelaya

I was like the go between from a front office Receptionist. When they had a patient upset about anything...I reminded the the receptionist or any other staff members when they would buzz me and this is very important...the patient is always right for one thing. You never know what they're going through. Pain and worry is a given. I would take the patient in a private room and introduce myself. With the paperwork I would help them in anyway. By the end of maybe 15 minutes I offered my HUG. Walked them into the doctor's office for the consultation. I would always inform the doctor before seeing a patient what was going on. The patient 90% of the time was a patient for year's and referred friend's and Family to us.

The biggest mistake I made as a #RDH at #Dr.JoyceLitch ...

Should have stayed working for her. I took a position at a Dental Office that was much closer to my home. That Dentist retired 4 years later. Should have stayed. I did end up working for Dr. Litch many years later when one of her Dental Hygienist needed to take a long term medical leave. I worked there for about a year until her Hygienist was able to go back to work. Dr. Litch has now joined UENO a Specialty Dental Group in Campbell California and I would have loved to be part of that Team.

What I loved working at #Dr.JoyceLitch

Dr. Litch is not only a Great Periodontist but a Great Employer. The working environment was serious but not stressful. She pays her employees fairly and provided good benefits for Full-time employees. Dr. Litch started out as a Hygienist and knew what it was like to be an employee. Dr. Litch always wanted what was the best for her patients and never overtreated. She considered patients overall health in her treatment plan to obtain the best possible results for her patients. Her Dental Assistant Lydia who had been with her for many years is the best. Lydia always had a concern for patients comfort and performed all duties to the highest level possible.

Drama at #Dr.'sElliottandWebb

A patient was very upset that the doctor was running so late and though she wasn't angry at me she used me to make her point clear to the doctor. He was at a loss for words except to apologize profusely to the patient and tell me I should of notified him immediately of the patients concern (which I had). Finally the office manager came to my rescue by stating that I had done exactly what I should have and said it in front of all of us, the doctor, the patient and myself. He treated the patient immediately and nothing more was said.
