I would like to know how to inroll me.

I started work as a Dental Assistant again after being unemployed about a month and a half. Only because I was taking care of my mother-in-law (by choice). She lost her battle to cancer June 3rd. May GOD rest and bless her soul. Her service was Saturday and I was called on Monday to start at an office for Thursday. They started me on what they said are their busiest day out the week.....AFTER the rush and day was over! That wasn't a problem for me though. The problem lies within the maintenance of the facility. My head hurt from 12pm until the time I laid down to sleep later that night, due to uncleanliness. I know that sounds crazy but working in an unsanitary or unclean environment does something to me if I can't do anything about it right away. So Friday came and the headache came back....until I cleaned up. Lol! After I cleaned, I was all better. But the way they run their business isn't right. I can't work somewhere that I won't refer someone to. So, I think I'm going to continue my job search while working there until something else falls through. I possess a TWIC card. If anyone knows where I can land a job that requires it, please let me know. I've heard about a Fire Watch position but I don't know where to apply. Thank you!

Do you train people to be dental assistants? I was training to be a dental assistant at New Horizons dental clinic for the past 2 months, when I was let go a week ago. I was working at their 2nd clinic in South East when I was told that they no longer needed me and had to let me go. I was just beginning to learn things and I really liked it. Most of the time I only got to see extractions and fillings. I always came to work every day, never got wrote up, they were even going to pay for my cray class. I'm not even sure why I was even let go, but I liked the job and would love if someone would please give me another chance because none of the colleges around here have a dental assistant course.

I have noticed I apply for positions and no one calls back. They stay listed, has anyone gotten a call back or job from these listing?

Hi, my name is Angela, I'm new here in Denton Tx and now I am desesperated looking for a job but it seems so hard to find it because first I am a new graduate, I haven't work in the field I just did the Extrnship in NY city and also I am pregnant.
