I am an experienced package delivery driver seeking a career opportunity with a new employer. I worked for United Parcel Services (UPS) for 19 years. I started with part time work in the pre-load department sorting packages from feeder trailers and loading package cars for delivery to customers. When the opportunity opened, I began filling in for drivers on various routes where I delivered packages to customers.

For the last 6 1/2 years, I have been a Certified Poison Center Specialist working with the entire state of Wisconsin. We worked often remotely and had multiple applications to bounce around in to get our information. There was a lot of autonomy in our position. Prior to that I worked a year at a vein clinic and was doing flu clinics as well at corporations. In 2014 I stopped working due to an illness after 14 years of being at a pediatric clinic as a triage nurse and jack of all trades prior to that I did labor and delivery and was in the Navy as a navy nurse, working with postpartum women and nursery babies.

I’m an operations management professional with a solid academic background in international business and practical experience in managing production processes. I’m committed to achieving business efficiency by optimizing costs, improving procedures, and maximizing the potential of available labor and equipment. In addition, I leverage the creative problem-solving and decision-making skills needed to resolve complex business challenges and formulate new company agendas.

I’m great at leading diverse teams, improving internal communications, and engaging stakeholders on both sides. I have effectively managed sales teams, delivery drivers, production personnel, and people involved in warehouse operations, enforcing a culture of collaboration and accountability. I have experience working with geographically dispersed teams in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, providing every team member with resources and motivation to support business goals and achieve growth.

My background as a production manager for a small team has equipped me with hands-on experience needed to handle projects and run operations across multiple facilities. At the same time, my educational background provided me with a deep understanding of the structure of administrative duties needed to support business operations in a domestic or international company.

I’m enthusiastic about transferring my skills and interdisciplinary background to a new industry and a larger entity to achieve more ambitious goals and streamline business growth and development. I’m constantly motivated to achieve greater efficiency and develop the necessary skills to oversee and manage diverse departments and achieve the highest business gains.
