Turned down for being overqualified?
How do you overcome being turned down for being overqualified for a position? I'm trying to expand my skill set - unfortunately being a Data Analyst is very niche and is pretty much all Contractor work. I would love to find something in a different line of work and more stable...

The hardest part of working as a #DataAnalyst/DataEntry at #NDIEngineering
I am a private contractor for the US Navy through NDI Engineering. I have worked for them for six years now and I can honestly say that there is not one part that I would consider difficult. I deal directly with the base I work out of ( I work from home). I send in my time sheets and monthly reports as scheduled to NDI. I have only gone to their office once for an initial meeting. Their office is far from my home, but I pick up and drop off work at the base, I enjoy typing so this job fits me perfectly. I put in six hours a day, five days a week. Evaluations are coming out soon so I could provide a copy to show my job performance. Dorothy McGraw.

I have over twenty years in various levels of responsibilities in executive administration office management and coordination. My most current job was as a data analyst for a hospital but a department reorganization changed my position to an RN or above qualification so my position as non-clinical was eliminated. I am looking for work either as an EA or Data Analyst (beginner with two years experience). I am always finding older posts that I am sure have been filled, what am I doing wrong?
