What has happened to "Customer Service"?

"The customer is always right" is a valid business premise; it leads to satisfied customers and repeat business, and generally reduces the stress levels of all concerned. So when did this become a rarity?

I handled tough situations at work by...

In my opinion is always about pleasing the customer so I would find out what the problem was and try to handle it on my own but if it needed a manager's opinion or help I would go to my manager and get help. I do not take what customers say to me personally and I do not let it upset me because I know that they aren't mad with me or upset with me that it's actually that they're upset with the situation at hand so I'll never show any sort of being angry but always try to handle it on my own which I usually did.

To make a customer's day you should

I show them love, and kindness, and I showed them that I Care for them that they were some body, I made cakes and pie's, and brought them to the people and shared it with them. I prayed with them, and I cried with them. I encourage there hearts, I lifted up there spirits, I took the time to listen to them, and I showed them God that live on the inside of me I hug them, and we talked about the goodness of God, I gave to them to help them, because some didn't always have money to ride and i would pay for them to be able to ride the bus. I tryed to help them to make it through the day., I also was firm handed with those that didn't want to listen, or didn't want to obey . But I showed love on every hand.a and always had snack for the children, as well for the bus drivers.

Unruly customers

I had a customer that tried to return a part without a receipt. I told the customer I'm sorry but I cannot return your part without a receipt. Did you get it from our store? The customer then screamed at me and said some very belligerent things to me. I kindly told the customer well sir if you have a problem you can always call or 1-800 number and speak to human resources representative. He then proceeded to call me out of my name and with a smile on my face, I said I do apologize for any inconvenience that you may have at this time I hope you have a great day.

LA Tan

What I loved about working here was that I was very knowledgeable about tanning so I was really great at helping customers and giving actual recommendations. I loved working in an environment that I knew about it before the job and tanning is something I’ve alwaye loved.

Tired of working dead end jobs

Can’t find anything.. my job gave me a promotion and April and I haven’t received any news since then . I finally spoke up and asked about it 3 weeks ago and I’m barely working.. maybe there doing on purpose making me quit so they won’t have to give me the money I deserve. Everybody comes to me instead of the manager for help .. with a customer or if it’s something they don’t know. I’m being overlooked and it’s no fair.. the people that are managers abuse the power and are lazy. I wish they could see everything for what it really is instead of having a friend that’s over you .. giving you the job ... I wish it wasn’t like that

Exceeding Expectations key to more business

People’s perception is their reality. Wrong or right, consumers have expectations that if not met and met quickly will seek out a product/service that meets these increasingly high expectations for complete, unwavering satisfaction. Communication is a key component to ensuring your message resonates and stands above the noise of other competitors offerings. Genuine and authenticity in your message must be felt. Uncovering a pain point in a current product or service are opportunities to satisfaction and meeting needs. Giving options to do business with you means more business. Commitment begins when the value of a product or service in the the mind of the buyer has been met or exceeded.
