My thought you from previous experience when I worked at Price chopper and I had a manager that was Jewish. She was a very good boss. I really liked her and I respect her greatly. One thing she told me was you never supposed to bring your personal life into your job. Once you walk through the doors of that job, your personal life is behind you, so any company that’s looking at your personal stuff is basically dragging your personal life into the workplace. And that’s a no go for me and it’s unethical

I am a development professional with a strong focus in collaboration, thanks to my background in the Pharmaceutical Industry, where I worked with large teams to achieve organizational goals and satisfy requirements of medical professionals. I owe my experience with documentation and communication to auditing medical reports, and carry that attention to detail into my development work. I am pursuing roles in Frontend, or Full Stack Development.

Lived a pretty normal life until I had 2 people I was close to get murdered within 6 months of each other. I turned to drugs for comfort and in doing so lost everything. My job, my kids, my house....ran the streets homeless for 4 years until I landed in prison. I have been out of prison since the end of 2019 and clean since 2022. Trying to be a productive member of society but it's not easy with my past record. I found God in 2017 so I know everything will work out. I just pray I find a job that will allow me to be the mother I was before and be an active productive member of society. I just want an opportunity to prove I am a better person than I was before.

As as retired VP/Chief Pharmacy I did not. I interviewed and hired for the Pharmacy Department. We did not check/review a candidate's online activity. Simply stated....online outside work is private.

DISCRIMINATION on people with FELONIES

It's sad that some people that have felonies are good people just made mistakes. But yet I can't even get a job and I'm on deferred. I've been in my field for 13 + years and nobody wants to hire me because of my record. How sad there's some good hard working women and men that deserve that job Don't get it because of there background.

There are jobs out there that felons can do, but its not going to be a job you can live on.

Ex Felons !

I think as long as There is a background check done properly, depending on the charges in most places will hire. My cousin who caught a case along time ago which was minor. He got employed by a major airline. He is now a Supervisor 😁.
