I have a major degree in Public administration and HR as minor field. I havnt worked before but would love to know what options do i have to apply at costco.

I've never done this before, but I'll always try something once. I have applied at a lot of different retail and grocery companies, hoping to get full time work. Nobody ever gets back to me and I am getting frustrated. I'm part time at Home Depot, but need full time asap.

I applied to Cosco a couple of months ago through a job site. I have not heard anything about the job I applied for. I applied for part time in Enfield, but have heard nothing. When applying on these job sites do you have to call the company you are applying for to follow up or wait for them to contact you?

In November of 05 I walked into the Costco in Lenexa KS. I asked about the opportunity of a position of a Meat Cutter position. Was told the meat mgr. Had been promoted to receiving mgr. And there was an opening. I was told to go on line and apply. Which I did. They let me give a two weeks notice to my current/former employer. I came in for a four hour orentaion the next day,which I was paid for four hours/and put on payroll. Two weeks went by and then I physically went to work for them .TWO WEEKS went by and I was fired, no sick days no late shows and always a great attitude. The meat mgr wanted his friend not me.
