I am unsure of my next job

I hold a master's in pharmacy from Europe that I still have to convert in New York after my moving, and meanwhile I need a part time job that can generate me some money to help cover my bills, I don't think driving would be ideal for me in New York city, any suggestions for what I should do next? Best regards.

FALSE HOPE

Dear Jobcase, I recently observed and somewhat partook in your Jan. 30 day challenges and on the last day I thought I landed a dream trucking job with FedEx freight.I filled out my application on indeed.com and submitted it and I soon was being emailed and was called for prescreen interview. After that, I was given a date for a face to face interview and a number to the man I was to call. So I called him to just basically get a gist of the pay rate for their drivers and was told that this position was an on call position ,or if someone took vacation I could fill in, and that he couldn't promise that I would work everyday. So unfortunately, I had to cancel my interview date for those reasons. I just can't afford to quit my job now that lately hasn't been so bad, to switch to a job that wasn't full-time.It was exciting to be considered by FedEx , it just wasn't what I was expecting. Hence, false hope! So I just thought I'd share the irony of your 30 day challenge and on the last day I had gotten an interview with FedEx. The right trucking job with fall in my lap eventually. Until then I'll remain optimistic and never complain about the thorns among the roses but rather be greatful for the roses among the thorns! Thank y'all for your words of encouragement and support and the finding of jobs I may be interested in. Sincerely!

Child Support or Job Enabler?

I have recently applied at 2 different decent paying jobs I was phone interviewed and interviewed in person. Once a background check and drug test were completed they individually ran credit checks on me and since I am not making as much money as I used to I have accrued some child support backpay which comes out on my credit report. Therefore the job offers were taken off the table. So child support is stopping me from getting better paying jobs. I honestly didn't know that putting CS on your credit report was legal. I have bought cars, a home, and received cash loans from banks so the only thing that putting CS on my credit report is affecting is me paying my CS. The TX AG's office is a joke.

Why can't I get a job, despite willing to start at the lowest entry

Dear Jobcase team, A pleasant morning to you.

I have a story to tell, please listen to my story and help me. Am desperate.

  1. I have a Bachelor's degree in management, Certification in Industrial Relations, Human Resources and 20 additional certificates.
  2. I am doing my Associate degree in Medical Billing and Coding, my GPA is 3.5. I am on the Dean's list.
  3. I am really committed and dedicated individual.
  4. I am a people's person, very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful.
  5. Yes i am doing Administrative duties at NYCI (20hrs per week at a very minimal amount per hour). Really can't pay my rent.

Note: Never applied for food stamps, or assistance, because i do believe that i don't need it. should be given to those who need it.

Never, ever had an issue with the law. so???

Am i wrong?? Please help me.

Flip side, my credit score is low, i can't pay my bills because I have no full time job. No one is hiring me and this is really frustration.

Is it because of my credit score??? I am curious.

I am afraid to apply, will not be called or acknowledge. I have applied for all types of jobs. Why????.

Oh yes i went to many interviews, but no job.
