I am starting over after 23 years at home and raising kids and being a helpful wife to my husband of 25 years. Now, I find myself needing to get a job and although I have lots of experience in many areas... I keep getting denied. I think my resume is sabotaging me! I need help understanding how to present a 50+ year old who is young at heart and very willing to learn and work. I need income in order to provide for my 4 daughters.

Hi I'm a widowed mom with 2 kids still at home I have never drove a truck, but I'm interested. This is the profession my husband was in and it sustained us well. I love children! My first job working with children was in 1984 where I worked 2 years as a teacher's assistance and school bus driver and again later in 1995 -1995 at Jackson County Schools in the East Central School District.

First day from completing my orientation yesterday and today I am training working in a group home with Artistic individuals. I almost gave up trying BUT I kept faith and was always motivated due to the fact of having my two girls. After some careful consideration, I have decided to continue my academic journey and return to school next month to earn my PhD. I have an extreme passion for learning, organizational change, and motivating the workforce. I also admit I have an even stronger obsession with taking care of my children.
