I have not had a client in over 4 months. They have not contacted me during this time either. But I'm still on there pay roll just not getting paid. And when I had a problem with a client they played both sides instead of just handling the situation.

The biggest mistake I made as a #Caregiver at #HomeInsteadSeniorCare ...
Trying to go by the rules of the book and letting staff members or supervisor know what's going on with client of needing exstra help when im not around and letting office know that client is in. Need of supervision. And they say they cant help. I did not have very good experience working for this company. Will never work for them again

Caring for the elderly helping them to live comfortably. Hardest part is finding what is suitable to my hrs. I don't give up I keep trying.

Freelance caregiver
I'm a middle aged divorced female that has been put in a position of unemployment and homelessness with no explanation as to why. I've been a caregiver off and on since 1987 and have always had high praises by the ones in charge and usually delighted to train new aides because of my capabilities. Now I'm lost in a computer oriented world of job seeking...help

My advice to people interested in working at #InHomecare as a #Caregiver ...
I have been doing this type of work for over 20 years, whether it was the hospital, nursing home, Privately in their home, going from home to home, you have to prepare yourself, some days might be good for your patient, some days might be bad for your patient, but as long as you have patience, you can make it. This type of work isn't for everyone, I enjoy it.

I try not to make mistakes. Probably not getting her up everyday to sit in her chair, but she didn't like sitting in the chair she would cry. So I would get her in the chair when it was requested by her family member
