Hello, I am looking for a job. I'm here two years ago. My English is not cool but I take English classes to perfect it. I have hearing problems I am hard of hearing but I wear hearing aids. These hearing aids are not good and are not suitable for me. That's why I'm looking for work that will allow me to earn and save money to buy good hearing aids adapted to my case so that later to study medicine. I'm looking for work everywhere The problem is that the interview I have to go through is that I do not speak English well and my bad hearing. Currently I use an application that allows me to translate in English because I speak French. I am discouraged because I really need work. I wanted to tell you about my case hoping to get some help. So I interviewed a nice lady for a serving job around a month ago. I liked everything about her except for one little thing... She could barely speak English! At times she couldn't even answer the questions I asked. Surely there's got to be some self accountability, seeing how communicating with the guests is a must. I just remember how shocked she was when I told her no.
