My advice to people interested in working at #TheSalvationArmy as a #Bellringer ...
Lot of standing on your feet. Outside in the weather. Keep the money bucket and bell with you at all times. Even in restroom. Take assigned breaks on time. No wandering around. Smile. Ring bell constantly. Be kind to patrons whether they give or not.

The biggest mistake I made as a #Bellringer at #TheSalvationArmy ...
I hid the bell outside to go inside to use the restroom on a break. Some kids stole the bell.
