For the last year I have worked as a server. Even though I have 15 years bartender experience. I'm afraid employers will think my experience is too old, that I have forgotten how to tend bar. That's so not true! I was serving craft beers 20 years ago. Muddling fruit and adding touches of unusual liqueurs is established experience for me. So is old school bartending-- Singapore Slings, Grasshoppers, etc.- I love that stuff. However, I'm afraid employers never get past the recent server part. Am I right?

Interviews are tough
Okay i am currently looking for a job as a bartender, still no luck with this interviews. I don't know what to say to them anymore. Alll i hear is "we will call you" or "let me pass it on to the GM for consideration". I don't know what i do wrong. Interviews are not at my best. Leave your advices and opinions. I will be happy to read them and try your techniques. Thx
