The biggest mistake I made as a #Bartender at #MakahaResort ...
I have thought about this question a lot and I couldn't think of any big mistakes. However, that.doesn't mean I didn't make mistakes, but they were always easily correctable. Occasionally, I may of been distracted and made the wrong drink for a waitresses order or the kitchen may of made the wrong appetizers and I served them without realizing it, but the guest let me know, the kitchen would expedite the order I would apologize very much and the guests always were so nice and forgiving. I never had a guest leave mad or disappointed . All mistakes whether big or small can be overcome it's all in the way it's handled. Your attitude will ultimately determine the outcome of the mistake. Frankly it can be forgotten by the guest within a short period of time if you are kind, courteous, apologetic and attentive. Kindness and laughter can basically solve whatever the problem is.

My advice to people interested in working at #MakahaResort as a #Bartender ...b
It's a real shame but the Makaha Resort has been demolished so of course there are no jobs there. However,, there is a silver lining! A new Resort is being built and in approximately 3 years there will be plenty of jobs available.. in the mean time I'd get another job!

Bartender
Helping people help others. Help the community through the good times and the bad.

The hardest part of working as a #Bartender at #LCDLiquor is they don't know any thing about running a bar
They treat their good workers like crap I shouldn't say they the one daughter don't have a clue on what's she's doing. If you have a bartender that makes you good money on their nights why not keep them on nights and stop switching and putting people on nights that don't make that much. And I thought Seniority supposed to count in the workplace someone coming in after you get more preference than you do. She lets others get in her ear instead of doing it herself. Now if the younger sister was to come back and run the bar it will be a wonderful place and they will make a lot of money.
