I have been out of work since Nov. 2017. I have submitted resumes to many companies with most saying thanks but no thanks! However, there have been companies whose Talent Requisitionist contacted me. My problem is that they will send me emails asking to schedule phone interviews and then ask to reschedule but never do. I email them asking if they're still interested in rescheduling and still no response. I also had an incident with M&T Bank where I was scheduled for an interview, drove to the location, paid for parking just to be told that my interview was canceled with no explanation. When I tried calling and emailing their HR, again no response. Is this the norm? Should I be concerned about this? It has happened too many times.

My experience with everyone from my peers to the managers, supervisor and even upper management was always a positive one. My career at the Federal Reserve was well worth it and I can say that I was able to retire from this company on great terms. Good career for me and my family
