Hello my name is Kirstie Bisel and I am a 25year old with a 2.5 year old little girl. I'm currently in between jobs. I was the assistant GM of little Caesar's but because I do not drive at this time I had to step away from my position and job there due to transportation. It's been so long since I have worked. I was 22 when I quit Wal-Mart so I could have a night out the night before my first marriage.stupid.. I know... So it's been 15 years since I have worked. My husband isn't getting the hour he used to get and I must find a job. I can Remembe where I worked but not the dates and not all the supervisors names. . I have been a house wife and a .mother of 3 for ever now and I even gained 2 wonderful children in my new marriage of 5 years now. I'm so afraid. I know I can work I'm very talented and learn quickly. So my question is what do I tell them about my past work? And will they hire me knowing i cant rember about my past jobs.

I was a contracting PM who worked in an employer/ client model. If the client has work, the employer would keep me. Late last year, the client decided to end the contract because I had to go on maternity leave.This also resulted into the end of my employment with my employer (running W2).

I have just started to look out for new opportunities last month but haven't been able to find one so far. Do I qualify for unemployment benefits or the maternity leave (for lack of better terms) would prevent me from claiming one. Note that it has been over 7 months now and I am completely ready to go back to work and being a contractor I did not have any maternity benefits such as leave etc. If I can claim for unemployment benefits how far back can I go? Let me know your thoughts

So I have a newborn baby so I was on bed rest for a while but my 6 weeks are now up so I've been searching for a job. I had finally been offered a at home customer service job off of ziprecruiter, they sent me a "check" because it was supposed to be for equipment but it was all a scam. it was very sketchy so I did a bunch of research and the check was fraudulent. Be careful with these online job sites.

I went back to work a couple months ago after being a stay at home mom for awhile. It was only part time but I was really enjoying it and putting effort into it. They corrected me on a couple things here and there but nothing too crazy and I was still on the learning curve. Well I got told I was being let go today because the job just wasn't a right fit. It stings as I would have thought I would have had a chance to rectify any issues. I know it is their perogative. Just unsure what to do next.
