hired

I recently got hired at a new job. All I have to do is go on line and finish the on board application but the problem is that they sent me an invalid password to get in the system and the deadline is 9 am Tuesday morning. Now today is Saturday and Monday is a holiday and I do not have 24/7 access to a computer. I have to go to the local library to use the computer. If I do not have this imformation in by Tuesday at 9am which is orientation day I will have to wait 30 days to go back. I have called the help desk number and they are closed and most likely be closed moday. Library do not open until 9am on Tuesday. What should I do>

Lost my information?!!

So I applied at Transcom about a week ago. I had online assessments to take and a phone interview. Very long process, took about two weeks to finally get in all the information they needed me to put in in order for me to start working from home. They told me that I would hear back within 72 hrs at the most. This was a week ago. I emailed someone from the career department and they seem to have lost my information and are asking me all these questions like "when did I apply?!!" That is very unprofessional for them to have lost my information and not call me back at all. Did anyone else ever have issues like this trying to get a work from home job or know about the company Transcom?

Don't fall for these rip-offs...

Consumer Alert! The United States Postal Service, (USPS) does not charge for employment information or major entry level pre-employment assessment test. Don’t be fooled by ads or emails that promise the following results for a fee:

-----> Guaranteed high test scores on assessments -----> Access to hidden high paying federal jobs -----> Toll free numbers to access valuable booklets containing job listings, practice test questions, and tips for entrance exams.

USPS is getting ready to kick of their yearly seasonal hiring initiative by adding more mail carrier, clerical, and support job opportunities nationwide.

These jobs offer an excellent opportunity to supplement your income during the holidays and many of these positions transition into long term permanent employment for seasonal employees that prove their invaluable to the business. Go directly to the USPS Career page to search for current job openings and all the information you need to know about pre-employment exams, assessments, and the USPS hiring process.

Employed!

After 3 Long months of phone interview upon phone interview, Assessment test and more Assessment tests and a Few Face to Face Interviews. I have been Hired, this New world of the hiring process Is Debilitating, Totally Miss the Walk-in application/resume and Face to Face at that moment. Crazy Technical jargon, it's as if Employer's think you have a Cash Stash with lots of time to wait for Income. I Hope That Changes! And what up with 1/4 the Assessment tests asking about the"Dishonesty" world we live in. Was Finally told to Answer "True/Agree", cause I was Disagreeing;. How's Our World Ever Gonna Change if we Agree, Teaching the Wrong Message to the Future Generation.

Missed 48-hour window for online assessment

Last week I applied for an Enrollment / Eligibility Representative position with United Health Group. I received an initial review email stating that I may be qualified for the position and to self-identify, which I completed. While doing so I erroneously clicked on the link again and therefore self-identified again. I received another email with a similar statement of "initial review" and "qualified" and thought it was a duplicate email since I self- identified twice. I checked my submission status numerous times and saw that it is still in accepting applications status. After researching what previous UHG applicants experienced during the hiring process, I saw that you must take assessment tests to proceed. Well, thank GOD that I kept the latest confirmation email from UHG which was the link to the online assessment questionaire. I completed the questionaire in the wee-hours of the morning today and checked my job page to ensure that all was completed. I'm worried that this will affect my candidate status and have set up a time to chat with a recruiter to discuss the matter. Has this happened to anyone here?

Does anyone know where a medical assistant graduate can find a testing facility , other than the place they graduated from?

Strangest questions

I can't make this up. One of the questions during an online assessment was how often do I use crystal meth, frequently, infrequently, it's a serious problem, I have it under control, or not at all? It didn't stop there either, it did weed, amphetamines, alchol etc. WTF? I've never seen anything like this.
