Help me answer this Dollar General Assessment Question:

"Cindy just got off the phone with a nasty customer and slammed the phone down. What is the most logical reason for this?"

Anyone else face these types of behavioral questions during their application process?

I have applied for a position with FedEx. I have also received and completed the assessment. How long is the hiring process and is there some place or someone I can speak to about tracking my application?

Thanks to all

Thanks to all who contributed and answered my question regarding an assessment test scenario. The question asked was "You have two employees that do not get along but because of their expertise you need them to work together on a project together. Do you A) Tell them like it or not they must work together B) Do you put them together at point in project when needed or C) Do you work along side the two to keep tensions down? Your answers were thoughtful, creative and not A), B) or C). You helped to validate that so much talent is going to waste because those test don't demonstrate who you are and more importantly how you think, WHY you make the choices YOU do. Those test are about the test creators choices and their thought processes .

Does anyone know how much time the average jobseeker spends looking for jobs online?

I'm averaging about 5 hours per day searching and applying for jobs. Feels like I'm earning a masters degree in application submission & online assessments!!

Sales Rep./ Customer Service

I have a question in regards to these job assessment tests. Are they made for failure or am I just slow? I recently filed an application for AT&T for sales rep.,took the assessment test and was literally being honest on my responses but afterwards received a email stating that I did not qualify for the job because I failed the assessment test. Now I'm just getting back into the work field and currently working thru Temp Agencies. I'm just trying to earn my way an provide for myself. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Clifton, Thanks for posting on Jobcase! I found the phone number for this location, so I would suggest giving them a call at (954) 763-1932. The store manager's name is Thomas C., so you could ask to speak with him if he is available, or even the assistant manager. Best of luck!

Why are there so many assessment test for a Customer Service position with Home Depot?

I already completed an extensive assessment with my application and thought I was done but when I checked my application this morning it showed up incomplete because I have another assessment pending.
