I resently left a job for another and better oppertunity. I was seposed to get my last paycheck on the 7th. I did not receive it i contected payrole my old gm and dm and hr no one will give me a reason why. No one want s to help me or give me my last paycheck. Im stuck what do i do ?

Hello Everyone, I would like your thoughts on this please. I was let go from my last position in mid March. I'm trying to change industries and really have no contacts/networking resources to help. I have 25+ years of experience. Also, with job applications being received via internet, there seems to be much less "physical" interaction for interviews; meaning they like your resume and you've set up a phone interview. I'm looking to get back into corporate training which is my first love. My second is project management. I'm applying for both in all industries and I've selected a few "target" companies where I would like to work. What methods have you used that have worked to get your foot in the door in another industry, especially with the "internet" way of life now? Are you using certain words in your resumes? Are you contacting the companies via phone as well as the internet? Anything ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Just do not know what I am doing wrong . I have had several interviews for great jobs . Everytime I think I nailed it .. They tell me they have decided to go with other candidates . Its so hard and stressful. I practice and do mock interviews and prepare note cards and whatever else I have to do ..What am I doing wrong ? I recently had one over the phone and everytime I would answer the lady's question she would interrupt me and be rude . I know I am qualified for the jobs I apply to with my degree and experience but still no one wants to hire me .

Need advice on what to include on new job application. I was terminated from 2 different jobs. Both due to poor concentration, anxiety due to mean customers & high work demands, fatigue from attending school. I really tried, but supervisors fired me. I really need a job.

Hey yall! when following up with an employer in regards to my application, how do I get ahold of their email if its not posted? I don't want to seem like a creeper by calling them and asking for it.

Ok so is anyone else having an issue where when you are I reviewed they say you are a great fit and really like you but then they don't hire you with the only reason beinf they just decided to go with someone else? I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any sugfeations or ideas?

My job ended May 31st. Of course I applied for Unemployment. I have since submitted two continued claim forms and just received the third one. However, I have received no benefits as yet. The rent is due and I don't have enough to cover it without those benefits. Should I contact them and find out what's up or keep waiting?

I am going to apply for this job as an advocate they want my resume, cover letter and a writing sample. Would that be a hand written letter or how to deal with with ajob situation . I am confused.

Been working for 2wks now...had a so called verbal evaluation on my performance as of wk....I'm on a 90day probationary period...my shift super...has been on my case since the day I walked thru the door....I'm black and he's black...and he's basically telling me I'm not up to par with "his" expectations ect...now I have a super thts above him who is saying the exact opposite...I even gone as far to inform my head super of the situation and he told me "we" (the company) dnt do evaluation in wk or 2wks...so he did know what was going on and for me not to worry...but jus today he's back with the same bs for last Thursday....is this discrimination or do I jus need to assert myself...hlp plz
