Im at a loss on what to do from here.
This is part of a response I posted to someone else that posted on Jobcase. Im posting it here too...
Though I am on unemployment, it is about to run out. I dont know how many job applications and resumes Ive sent out, I still have yet to be offered a job. Im always told that though my experience is impressive, Im not what they are looking for. I did graduate from high school but do not have a degree. I have experience in Administrative Assistant/Receptionist type of positions, but not the actual title. I created a new email specifically for job searches for more professionalism. But I dont know what Im doing wrong. I cant afford to go back to school as Im the one in my family that has the most work experience in multiple fields, but nothing Ive done is good enough. Im at a loss of what to do from here.

Working after a sabbatical
My husband and I moved to an extremely rural area when he got promoted and an area that was farm land and a truck stop. One year turned into four and while my career has been in business administration and general accounting I’m having an extremely hard time angling myself as an attractive candidate with this much time out of my field. In addition, some of my references are no longer with their perspective companies. Any advice?
